Originally built in 1797 in Jonesborough, Tennessee, this incredible and truly unique log home was disassembled in 1980 and moved 50 miles east to its current location here alongside Buckeye Creek. This dramatic, four-story, five-bedroom vacation destination offers a truly special experience for its guests that you won't find anywhere else. With plenty of space for a family holiday celebration, this home features multiple entertainment areas both indoors and out, a fun-filled, lower-level game room with a pool table and wet bar, two expansive, furnished decks, and a patio with an outdoor firepit. You'll also find a spectacular gourmet kitchen with high-end, stainless steel appliances as well as an adjacent dining area and a living area with a two-sided fireplace, all set beneath a vaulted ceiling. For sleeping arrangements, this home offers five cozy bedrooms including one king-size room just off the kitchen, two rooms one level above (one of which includes an en suite bath), and two sunny, top-level rooms with skylights. On-site, there's a beautiful wooden arch which serves as the perfect spot for a small wedding or other special event, a large pond, and of course the trickling waters of Buckeye Creek, all of which contribute to this home's sense of sanctuary.
