We rented this for the weekend our son had his turning blue ceremony at Ft Moore. It's only around 10 minutes to base. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The house was adorable, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the game room was a hit! We had a wonderful weekend watching football, cooking food and spent a lot of time on the back patio. Great stay!

We stayed 2 nights for my son’s graduation from Basic Training. The house was very clean, smelled great, had lots of great games, and a nice kitchen. We loved the air hockey table and hot tub. The bathroom sink would not drain the water! I contacted the owner within 30 minutes of arrival but it was not fixed during our stay. It had been stopped up for a couple weeks according to the guest book.

The house was the perfect place to hang out with our soldier and have his friends come over to visit during his 4 day pass following his turning green ceremony. We did lots of cooking of his "favorites" and everything we needed was there!

The lovely trio of lady hostesses was easy to communicate with, quickly responding to each message I sent. The home was just as pictured in the VRBO listing, and such a welcome sight after our collision with a turkey on the way to Columbus - hiccup #2 on our trip! The personal touches they included (a light-board greeting & welcome basket filled with a few treats) did not go unnoticed. The home was clean, bright, & comfortable. The self-check-in process was super easy, the wall signs with check-in/check-out procedures, as well as the professional spiral bound "House in the Hills" Welcome book was a great resource to have on hand. As for the home, it was well-equipped with all the basic needs in the kitchen: ample glassware, pots/pans, dinnnerware, serveware, small appliance, eat-in-kitchen seating for 8 comfortably, as well as a cute coffee bar area with K-cup options. The two bathrooms and in-home. laundry made keeping people and clothing clean, a breeze. The starter toiletries & laundry pods were a great bonus, especially if you forget something. The bedrooms were comfortable and linens/bedding were supplied, making it a welcome sight after a long day of exploring. Getting a good's night rest was not hard in this home. The neighborhood was quiet. The bonus of the inflatable hot tub was a welcome sight and used two of the nights we stayed, giving relief to our muscles after our hiking outtings. There is a fire pit, however we were not able to take advantage of that. We only had two days to explore, but did enjoy going to: **Providence Canyon State Park (in Lumpkin, GA - $5 entry fee - beautiful a must see - canyons, water paths, hiking, picnic area, interpretive center - recommend 3-4 hours) **National Infantry Museum (Free- another highly recommended must see - carve out at least 2-3 hours to make the most of it) **Baumhower's Victory Grille (friendly, clean - Sports Bar in Auburn, AL) **Chewacla State Park ($2-$4 per person entry fee - beautiful - Auburn, AL lake, trails, picnic area, waterfall - recommend at least 2 hours) I would recommend taking advantage of these nuggets while staying at the House in the Hills. Pack a lunch, bring water, & make an morning or afternoon of it! They were great on the budget, so worth the time and energy, and provided value to our travel experience. If we had more time there were several other places we would have loved to visit/patronize...next time, Lord willing.

Absolutely Beautiful!
Absolutely Beautiful!
We rented this house to stay in when we came down for my son's Army OSUT graduation at Ft. Benning. It was wonderful! We spent the day together at the house playing football in the front yard, gathering around the firepit in the backyard, playing in the gameroom, and eating together. It gave us the perfect place to spend time together as a family before he was off again to his FDS. It was also very close to the NIM where his second graduation took place. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Absolutely Beautiful!
