Situated in Kuranda, this charming house for $199 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Summary: A lovely family holiday home located a short 30 minutes drive from Cairns in the world famous rainforest town of Kuranda FNQ. The serenity of the nature surrounding this property is beautiful and this 3 bedroom holiday home comes with a beautiful tropical rainforest feel swimming pool to entertain your family and friends. Explore all that the Tablelands , Kuranda and Cairns region has to offer whilst enjoying the peace and quiet at this beautiful Rainforest retreat. The Space: The home is walk in ground level but is elevated from the rear Veranda capturing views of the surrounding rainforest foliage and some glimpses of the Barron River . The property grounds are full of beautiful trees and has a wonderful family swimming pool in the front yard for you to entertain . This house is definitely unique as it also has a spiral staircase which takes you from the living area to a loft space which is wonderful for kids to be alone and entertain themselves with books and games . The open planned tropical living space has an 8 seater dining table and a sofa lounge to relax with a smart TV and free wifi for your enjoyment . Full kitchen with with amenities for cooking and a gas stove , oven , fridge , Microwave and coffee machine with ground coffee . Washing machine and clothes dryer available. Two bathrooms - one main with a tub shower and toilet . The second located near the entry with a toilet and shower . The main bath has a slight copper stain. The entire living room and all three bedrooms are fully air conditioned for your comfort in the summer nights and during winter there is a wood burn fire place located in the living area . Kindle is not provided. The master bedroom has a Queen bed Second bedroom has a Queen bed Third bedroom has a double bed and two singles bunk bed. Baby high chair and porta cot also available at the house - Feel free to use or bring your own. Please note we will not open up cot and assemble for liability reasons and guests must open and pack away them selves . No baby blankets provided must bring own. Located at the back fence of the property you will find a gate to the right which leads to a paved path and walkway which is truly one of the best features and location of this holiday home . heading left 1.5 km you can walk to town taking you along the Baron river but i would recommend first heading right about 1.6km which will lead you to the world famous Barron falls look out which is absolutely spectacular !! World famous views of these falls especially in the wet season are quite breathtaking and tourists travel from all around the world to visit this world famous heritage site in Kuranda . Please note the property is not new but has been freshly painted and has new beds and all furniture within the last 12 months. The property as is in the oldest rainforest in the world has a lot of trees with fronds that drop to the grounds. We have a gardener who does maintain the grounds every three weeks. The property is pest controlled yearly however various animals or bugs may pre present depending on the season as due to the environment and is in no way a reflection if uncleanliness but simply the surroundings of the rainforest.
