Great view of sunrise over the lake from the dining room in the morning. Lovely clean getaway in a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Would stay here again. Enjoyed being able to bring our pups with us too.

My wife and I and our two pups had a very relaxing time here, beautiful views and nice area. We saw a group of beavers come out of the lake and snack on some grass so that was cool. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced in back yard while we grilled some hotdogs. Had a blast, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for some peace and quiet.

The house was cozy! Backyard was cute. House was easy to find and beds were comfy. The foundation to the house has shifted some. The lake is low right now and if you don’t have a boat you won’t be able to fish at this time. If there was a way to check where exactly the house sits and know the lake level that would be great. Also I would have liked to have known that we could only fish off off our dock which was low water. Other than this - everything was great.

`I really enjoyed my stay!! The house was amazing, The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. Definitely relaxing and peaceful. I will be back in the summer time to enjoy some fishing and some much needed lake time. The host was very responsive and super nice. Thanks again for allowing me to stay in your amazing home.

We had a great stay at the Lakehouse. Caught an 18lb catfish and games were a big hit!

Enjoyed our brief stay at this lakeside property, great for our family and close to Abilene.

Such a comfortable house that is fun for all ages! The game room was great for the kids as well as the “bunk room”. The hot tub was a nice hang out for the adults in the evening. The large back yard also made for a pretty view on the lake. Lauren was also very accommodating and quick to respond. She was a fantastic host! Would recommend this location to anyone and will be returning in the future!

This was a fun place to get the family together when gathering from out of town for a wedding in Abilene. Quick and easy communication with the owner and an overall great place to stay. Thanks!

Lauren was great and super friendly. The property is nice but some of the pictures are a bit misleading. The living room in particular had a tiny sectional and chairs which isn’t a deal breaker just not well represented from the pics. My main issue was that we rented the home so we would not have to leave to fish and I am assuming based off of the pictures online when the lake is full it is possible. Unfortunately, the lake was not full and between the neighbors boat blocking the entire right side of the dock and, the non usable floating dock directly in front of the permanent dock it was impossible to fish which defeats the purpose of having a walk out fishing spot. If you are just looking for a place to park your boat and rest between excursions it will be good,if not super comfortable but if you are wanting a place to stay and fish all in one, make sure to have Lauren send “current” pictures. We will be looking for other options in the future.

Nice house for a weekend getaway

We had a great time. The house was missing cutting boards, but everything else was fabulous!! Bed was comfy, lake was good for fishing, the kids loved the fusebool table and we loved the large table for meals and games. The host was really easy and fast to communicate with. Would for sure come back.

Great little spot to get away for a quiet weekend. Not far from Johnson Park on Lake Ft.Phantom with fishing dock ,playground, barbecuing area and restrooms.
