The property was just as was advertised and what I would expect for a cottage. There was a minor problem with the smoke detector beeping as I entered the cottage which was quickly fixed with a member of the cleaning staff stopping by to replace the battery. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return.

I liked this place a lot, cozy spot on the lake with which you can view from the deck or the porch room, as well as from the fire pit area and dock. Plenty of sunshine all day, which we love- the A/C unit worked welll when needed and there are a few celiing fans. The layout is one main room, with a bedroom and bathroom. There is a bunk bed, so we let our infant sleep in there and we chose the futon, which was actually quite comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and newer looking. WiFi connection A+ for streaming/tv usage No issues for our dog, we brought a lead as the fenced area would only work for a very small dog Very close to the Oscoda beach/park- reccomend going there Also another beach just a mile south of that-but no amenities there, just a beach Plenty of trails and parks nearby to explore also

This home was absolutely perfect for me and my pup. It was very clean, check in was smooth, and the lake views are beautiful. We already know that we will be back!

This small cottage has everything a group of 2-4 would ever need. The breezeway was our favorite spot during the rainy day that interferes with our sightseeing. Lots of places to visit, and the location is central to everything we needed. My only caveat would be the small amount of dining utensils for more than a twosome. There’s more to the home than what’s listed, and you’ll be welcomed by plenty of ducks, squirrels & chipmunks scurrying around. There was even a crane or two, on the shoreline. The sunsets are out of this world, and the stars really do come out at night!

We loved the firepit area down by the lake and the the view from the sunroom. Very nice cottage. It was also close to Oscoda for grocerys, and dining.

originally house was hard to find because address is not at the street like the other houses. But one we realized where it was. It was easy after that. Great get away from city life.
