This oceanfront cottage offers two bedrooms (1K, 1Q) and two bathrooms. You are sure to enjoy your time at Holden Beach in this vibrant home with great views of the Atlantic Ocean! The king bedroom opens directly into the oceanside sunroom. Each bedroom offers it's own private bath. Just a few steps off the porch and you are walking the golden sand beach or jumping into the waves. You are within walking distance to the pier from this home. Home's laundry area is on the ground level. What are you waiting for? This home is waiting just for you! Holden Beach is a part of a barrier island chain located along the southeastern coast of NC. It is one of the best rated, least crowded, and most beautiful family beaches found. National Geographic Smart Traveler magazine recently ranked Holden Beach among it's top 10 "Best Family Beaches". The town of Shallotte is a 10 minute drive away with restaurants, grocery and department stores. Within an hour drive to Myrtle Beach, SC, you can relax on the beach during the day and drive to Myrtle Beach at night to play! Boating, fishing, and hiking on the island are all popular activities. Jet ski rentals are available under the Holden Beach bridge. Holden Beach is a shell hunters paradise! And for those who love sea turtles, hatching season runs May to October. Convenience Package included in rental to get you started. This includes: 1 roll of paper towel 2 trash bags 1 roll of toilet paper per bath 1 hand soap per bath ABOUT OUR POLICIES: **Rental Agreement will be sent 24 hours after reservation booked. You then have 24 hours to sign the agreement or rental will be cancelled. Keycode with welcome email will be sent 24 hours before you arrive. No Smoking or pets. This home rents weekly. Saturday Check In and Saturday Check Out. If you need a shorter stay, message us to see if we can accommodate your schedule. Minimum nights is 3. Check-out time is 10:00 am Check-in time is 4:00 pm Guests provide their own towels, bed linens, kitchen towels, and pillow cases. We provide mattress pads, blankets, comforters, and pillows. Linens can be provide for an additional fee. Just message us to add this for you.

Perfect oceanfront beach cottage for couples. Great ocean access and house had everything we needed. Enjoyed cooking fresh fish we caught and sunsets on the deck. Also learned about sea biscuits! Susan is a great host!

We had a great stay at Holden Beach. I love the house is ocean front! There's a few things I didn't enjoy about the house itself. There isn't access to the beach from the front of the house, you have to go through the house to the back porch (ocean side). This makes it hard for items you don't want to carry through the house like beach chairs, coolers, etc. The luggage elevator did not work so we had to carry very heavy items up the stairs. The back porch (ocean side) is not covered which is fine but owner could at least provide an umbrella for the table. We found the back porch (ocean side) lights didn't work at all so it was hard to see. There is water damage on a few of the bedroom walls. There isn't overhead lights in the bedrooms only lamps. That was fine but we found we couldn't turn the lamps off without unplugging them from the wall. Both bathrooms/ showers are very small. The washer and dryer are in the bottom of the house, no access to them from inside the house. This is a cute house but needs some upgrades.

Beautiful, beachy place directly on the ocean with a big deck facing the water that affords fantastic views. Had a hurricane approach during my stay and the property manager was extremely helpful in communicating useful information and offering help. Great place! Highly recommend.

Cute and cozy place. Definitely needs some upgrades!!! Showers constantly dripping in both bathrooms! Some of the outlets are inop. Very clean with an amazing view. Overall would definitely go back and recommend!! Thanks

The house was clean and exactly as the pictures showed. Loved the "beachiness" feel of it.

The kitchen was well equipped except for storage containers WITH lids. A cover on the porch and hooks or usable closet space would be good to hang clothes.

Had a wonderful week on the beach. The house is located on a great part of Holden Beach. House was clean and very comfortable for a small family. One improvement needed is the king mattress.

Everything in the home was as described and clean upon arrival.
The beds desperately need replacing. As mentioned by a previous guest, they are very uncomfortable.
The decor is fun and eclectic, such a great vibe.
The soft surfaces (sofa, chairs, etc) could certainly use updating yet are still comfortable.
Communication with the property manager was great. She checked in with us upon arrival and answered questions before our arrival.

The property has a fantastic location right on the beach. We picked it specifically because it was smaller and cozier, and it did not disappoint. It was very nice spending a week there.

Loved the rental except was not completely informed that there would not be any linens ( no sheets or towels provided) except through order from the owners. Had to make trip to Dollar General & slept on a comforter for a week with the one blanket provided.

This cottage is a vanishing breed: a small place on the oceanfront. We enjoyed the ocean views and easy access to the beach, and easily found places to eat and visit. Only suggestion, bring a good topper if you want to use the king bed, it has seen better days :) Thanks, Susan, for letting us use it!

We could not have asked for a more low-key, relaxing vacation. This beach-front gem was exactly what we were looking for. Susan made it so easy to check in and check out--the "maid service included" feature is a big plus! We spent our last day shelling and enjoying the beach instead of cleaning. Thank you for that! What a gift! If you are a couple or a small family (that was us), this is exactly what you need. We hope to come back next year!

Rental experience was easy. Communication with the host was great. Great location as well. The property needs some TLC. It was not clean with food scraps (peanuts and the like) on the floor and counters. The property had not been vacuumed or swept either.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was perfect for our small family. It’s super close to the sand and the beach at Holden is beautiful and quiet! Susan kept in touch during our stay and even gave us some restaurant recommendations. We will return in the future!!

Great place, location and stay
We had one of our most relaxing getaway for our 10th wedding anniversary. The property is great in all aspects - location, convenience, cleanliness. Needless to mention the view! It’s right at the beach! Susan is an amazing host and kept us updated as a dredging project was going on. The property is well maintained and had all the basic amenities. The beds were a little uncomfortable (may be it’s just me) We had some issue with the dishwasher and the outdoor shower but the maintenance person David fixed it in no time. The beach is clean, less crowded and is a shell collector’s paradise! We found a lot of shark tooths. Overall an amazing, relaxing experience! Would definitely return.
