Property was very clean and very cute. Bathroom addition was awesome. Was not impressed with how close we were to the neighbors, felt like we were in their front yard. RV was directly in front of us and pretty sure it was occupied. The caboose is definitely a very nice different experience. Other than the closeness, the property was very nice.

The place was very clean and we'll maintained. A little bit more light in the kitchen would be nice. It's fairly dark at night in the kitchen.

We loved the decorations and furnishings. We also really liked how easy it was to get to downtown Asheville. We did have some issues while we were there. The tub drain was clogged, there was an infestation of carpenter bees outside, and the driveway was pretty rough for a sedan. We also felt there wasn’t enough privacy (specifically in the hot tub). Overall we enjoyed the stay though and will consider it when visiting Asheville again

Nice, clean, quiet place to stay for two. My wife and I booked this unique location for our anniversary. It was perfect for us and had all we needed. Close enough to Asheville so we were able to come back and rest in the middle of the day.

We had a great stay in the cozy caboose! We loved the unique experience and enjoyed the farmer's sink and luxurious bathroom. We had a lovely time in our unique home away from home! A couple things we wanted to note from the 'guest' perspective that would be helpful for future guests. -Minimal outdoor lighting It was a little scary after dark using the hot tub there's no light path to get there. The only outdoor lighting is the small porch light. -Outdoor seating: We wanted to enjoy the great outdoors and sit amongst the trees on the property but the seating was filthy. We did what we could with Lysol wipes but the furniture needed a good hose down. -Driveway: I know it's a rustic look but the driveway to the caboose was a little rocky to get around. It needs to be repaved or smooth out a little bit.

Great news! GPS was accurate! 🙌 The property manager was very personable, and reachable. Only 10min from West Asheville, 15-20 to downtown Asville, and about an hour from the Cherokee Resort! 😅 You definitely knew you were in an old caboose! It was awesome! 🤯 The walls were a little barren, so we purchased a train inspired piece of art for the wall! We hope it makes people smile. 😁 Bathroom is AMAZING!!! 🥰 Hot tub was pleasant, but needs more privacy. 🤫 Bring your own firewood. 😕 The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was addiquate. Overall, we had a wonderful experience! 👍
