This Vrbo was perfect for my needs. It’s like a studio with just the bed, bathroom, and two chairs. However, there is room to hang clothes in the closet too, plus a fridge, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, utensils, and glasses. The towel warmer is a nice touch and the bed is actually quite comfortable. I was worried about parking before I arrived, but the hosts allowed me to park on the street (using their resident pass) for a small additional cost for the week. There are some really cool books and artifacts in the room as well. It is super close to food options, coffee options, boba, and even Safeway. It is also close to the UC campus. There was a heat wave in Berkeley while I stayed, but the room remained cool and comfortable.

The room was very nice-private clean cozy-everything we needed. The location was perfect. Shopping and nice restaurants are within walking distance and it is very close to UC Berkeley campus. We met the hosts who were very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early and made sure everything was good. They were also very easy to communicate with. Over all, it was a really great place for us.

This is my second review. While everything I said in my first review is true -- cute apartment, great location -- the communication this trip was terrible. I never got any response to my request for early check in nor did I get a response to my pleas for a code to get in the apartment. I had to call less than 2 hours before check in. Moreover, the owner's spouse opened the door to the apartment Saturday afternoon when I was napping. It was apparently an accident and she muttered an apology but the owner was incredibly defensive when I messaged about my shock and dismay about the violation of my privacy. I will not be returning, despite the fact that I have plans to do so in May and the fact that they very generously had given me a bottle of wine for booking a second time through VRBO.
