Fabulous unique home close to beach. Our visit during the off season was perfect. No crowds or traffic, great shopping near by, local fresh seafood restaurants.. all amenities within 2 miles. Watching the sun rise on the beach followed by a dip in hot tub was definitely our favorite activity. We had a much needed quiet, relaxing, enjoyable getaway.

The house is absolutely adorable! The manner in which it was decorated was awesome! I’ll definitely be going back! It felt very warm and inviting!

The house is so close to the beach. The access is across the street from the backyard. Plenty of comfy beds for everyone. Cool unique features. Huge deck for relaxing outside. The hot tub and swings on the ground level are the cherry on top!

Great place and great location.

The overall look and cleanliness of the house. The ample parking the view of the fire works at the pier without leaving the deck

For the most part we enjoyed our stay but there are some things that would us from staying again. First the PROS.
1. The location is wonderful, and a very short and straight walk to the beach. 2. The beds were so comfortable and the house was pretty clean. 3. The hot tub was a wonderful perk (especially during the colder months.) Now for the CONS
1. The upstairs floor creaks with every step someone takes. Even if they are trying to step softly. Anyone sleeping downstairs will be immediately woken as it is so loud when someone gets up to use the bathroom or just grab something. Now the house was built in 1970 so I can understand the structure has had some use but it was hard to get good sleep at all. 2. The lights are a bit complicated to use, even with the labeling, and although we were able to figure it out I can see this being difficult for some other renters. 3. The door locks every time it is shut and the code was 10 digits long each time and sometimes it wouldn’t open properly. 4. This one isn’t a real issue but one of the bedroom TV’s was unusable as it had not been set up for our visit.
The house is beautiful and may be the perfect place for some and would recommend it but for us and our situation we probably wouldn’t rent this house again.

Clean, close to the beach and fun themed beach house. My family enjoyed our weekend stay in December.

I’d prefer to be right on the beach, but this was so much more affordable and is SO close to the public beach access that the walk didn’t really make a difference. We’ve got 6 kids, and it was small, but a good fit- we had a great time! Thankful that there was some furniture down by the hot tub, and the outside shower was useful- we weren’t expecting either.

Great layout and location! Close to beach access, great decks, and wonderful hot tub, all in great condition. The house lives larger that it's physical size.

We had a wonderful experience visiting Ocean Isle Beach for the first time. We visited for Spring Break, March 40-April 3. The house perfectly met our needs and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Below are pros and cons for an objective review.
Pros - Keyless entry, contactless checkin at the house, not having to drive to a separate location for checkin was a big perk. The house was just the right size for 2 families with kids. Our group was 4 adults and 5 kids aged 3-8. The house is tastefully decorated and updated (except for bathtubs/showers). Most of the mattresses were newer, memory foam, and on the firmer side, which we loved. We’ve stayed at many beach houses over the years and they usually have lumpy, creaky, uncomfortable beds. The upstairs loft was named the “kids’ clubhouse” and great for keeping the chaos and video gaming confined. It was very windy and the ocean ice cold this time of year. So the hot tub was amazing for warming up after spending time on the beach. Even the outdoor shower had hot water! Pretty decent wifi, which is a rare find at beach houses. The house is also very close to the beach access as advertised.
Cons - The floor boards are very creaky, and the sound below loud. So early risers should definitely sleep on the first floor. The front door auto locks, so you need to make sure you carry the code with you at all times or make sure someone is inside to let you in. The house has a Nest Smart Thermostat, which kept changing the temperature to pre-saved settings. This was a big annoyance as we kept having to change it every couple of hours. The first floor could use better lighting. It was very dark in the family room/dining area, to the point where we had to move the bedrooms lamps out to get enough lighting. The beach access involved lots of stairs in order to get over the dunes, and is not ADA friendly. This is not to blame the property, but to warn others to be prepared.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and the house. The kids didn’t want to leave and even asked to stay at the house again on our next trip.

We were not pleased with this property, so much so that we left a couple nights early. The property needs a good cleaning, updated pillows, some furniture to sit outside on the deck (besides the 2 small plastic chairs and peeling picnic table).
