This Charming Cape is a beautiful, recently remodeled cape cod style home on the Mad River in Warren Village and on a very quiet secluded road. Just steps from the Warren Covered bridge, this home is perfect for Summer and Winter activities. Summer includes floating on the Mad River, hiking up Lincoln Gap, or grabbing a sandwich at the famous Warren Store and dipping in the swimming hole there, and paddleboarding on Bluebery lake and jumping off the covered bridge in Waitsfield. Winter activities include of course skiing Sugarbush Mountain or Mad River Glen, Cross Country skiing at Oles or Blueberry Lake, and Snow showing all over the valley. This light filled home with sliding doors that open to a covered porch overlooking the Mad River. A stunning wood burning fireplace to keep you warm after a day on the slopes.

We went to a family wedding a few miles away. The home is as advertised, and very spacious, it rained so the brook in the back was flowing very nicely and helped us sleep at night. Very nice home we would recommend staying here if you are visiting VT.

We stayed at this lovely property with our three adult children for a friend’s daughter’s wedding, and it didn’t disappoint. The house is extremely clean, with beautiful light and very well appointed. The back porch is a treasure, and we all loved sitting there and listening to the brook in the backyard. Very peaceful and serene. Becky was very responsive to any questions we had. Cell service is virtually impossible in the entire area (through no one’s fault whatsoever) so be sure to download your route when your on the home’s wifi - a very small inconvenience with all of the beautiful views to be had. If we were to come back to the area we would definitely stay here again 😊

The house was exactly what was shown if not even better.The owner was wonderful and very easy to get in touch with.We really enjoyed walking to dinner in Warren (all of a six minute walk). I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

We used this property twice to visit my son at Norwich University. It was just a short drive to the college. Very peaceful! Loved the layout, river and the back porch!!!

Arriving via the covered bridge felt like a journey into the past. La Maison Jaune (the yellow house) was immediately welcoming with the view of the river from the gorgeous porch. The entire house was extremely clean with everything we could possibly need to make our stay very comfortable. Enjoyed exploring the area and returned home with many fond memories.

We stayed at this beautiful house for 2 weeks and found it to be clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and above all - peaceful and relaxing. Coffee on the porch in the morning is what I will miss most. Owner is very responsive and even offered vegetables from her garden to us :)

We had a great time and relaxing stay, other than the extreme heat and no a/c. We ended up leaving a day early when temps in the house got up over 90 degrees. But all in all a great location, quiet and close to the river and Warren falls.

What a beautiful home! The setting was perfect—right by the river. The house was very comfortable for my family of five. Quite, bright and clean! The Warren Falls were fantastic! Our host was very responsive. We will be back!

So Cute!

This was the perfect Vermont home. It was very clean and comfortable and in such a neat setting! It was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We loved the river in the back yard and the short walk to the Warren village that even included a covered bridge.

Spacious, nicely furnished home with the Mad River running directly behind the house. Enjoyed breakfasts and time relaxing on the back porch with the sound of the water in the background. Easy walk to Warren center and drive to Waitesfield. Host was responsive and easy to work with. Will be back!

We loved our stay in Warren with this VRBO! It’s a beautiful home, in a peaceful setting near the river. Owner has done a lovely job decorating the place and outfitting it with anything you could need. Beds were comfortable, and there are many different places to hang out, from the formal dining to the tv room, which has access to Netflix, Hulu, etc. Really a lovely place - 10/10 would stay again.

This is a lovely house right on the river. We wanted to explore the Warren/Waitsfield area and this location did not disappoint. It’s a short walk to the covered bridge and the town of Warren. It’s close to Warren Falls, Blueberry Lake, Knoll Farm, the farmers market in Waitsfield and lots of other great places to visit. The house was clean, with a well stocked kitchen. The covered porch overlooking the river was perfect for morning coffees and evening drinks, while our children caught tiny frogs and played on the lawn. Becky, the owner, was available to answer any questions. Will definitely stay here again!
