About this house rental

Situated in Lake Gaston, this charming house for $175 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Shangri-la at Lake Gaston (LKG) is the perfect gateway for your LKG experience! This beautiful property is nestled in a protected cove with direct water views and lots of outdoor living space. The cozy well-appointed layout offers views of the water and relaxing outdoor space on the covered back deck and separate large sun deck down by the water. The home offers 3 BEDROOMS and 2 BATHROOMS. The master bedroom offers an en suite bathroom, king bed and beautiful furnishings. The second bedroom is well appointed with a queen bed and direct view of the lake. Kids will enjoy the bunk room with two bunk beds (each a twin over full) to accommodate up to 6 kids! Every bedroom includes a smart TV with access to your favorite streaming services. The well-appointed living room includes plenty of comfortable seating for all, and a 60 inch smart TV for watching movies or your favorite team. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your enjoyment. The convenient bar seating and small dinette provide comfortable dining seating for 6 indoors, or choose to eat al fresco at the large dining table (seats 6) on the covered deck overlooking the water. New and comfortable sectional outdoor sofa and rug included on the covered deck for your enjoyment. Plus, a small dinette and four sun loungers are included on the sun deck down by the water. For your convenience a gas grill is also available for your cookouts. Complimentary high-speed internet is provided. LINENS PROVIDED AT NO EXTRA COST The community dock has deep clean water with a firm bottom, and offers an area for boat tie-up for the day. A dock ladder offers easy entrance and exit from the water. The calm water cove allows for safe swimming, floating, kayaking and paddle-boarding for worry free water play. Swim at your own risk. NO DIVING! You are in a PRIME location on the North side of the main channel and CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. Only 4 MILES to Food Lion, ABC Liquor Store, Dollar Store, Lake Gaston Pizza, Hwy 55 Burgers, Subway, LKG Coffee, Ace Hardware and more. By water you are just a few minutes to the Eaton's Ferry Bridge and the local waterfront restaurants (Water's View Restaurant and The Pointe Restaurant). There is a public boat ramp only two miles from the house (by land and water). Southpointe Marina and Washburn’s Marina are close by for your fuel and boating convenience. Guests coming from the North or South using the I-85 corridor will be pleasantly surprised by the accessibility from major metro areas (about 1 to 1.5 hours from Raleigh and Richmond). Nearby are churches, a plant nursery, golf course, mini golf, farmers market, and flea market. Our house is a good base for a visit to Rosemont of Virginia Vineyards and Winery. Any jet skis and boats on the boat lifts at the community dock are property of the owners, not to be tampered with, and not for use by renters. There are numerous boat rental companies on the lake for your convenience. Note that this property is in a small close-knit community surrounding the cove. The community is very quiet and friendly, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the lake. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE NEIGHBORS AND THEIR PROPERTY. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR EXCESSIVE NOISE. VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUND. NO PETS ALLOWED! Please note that the house is on a SEPTIC SYSTEM. Please DO NOT flush anything except HUMAN WASTE and TOILET PAPER! NO SMOKING. No smoking please inside the home or on the deck.
