The house has an excellent view of the lake and access for swimming for our group. We had access to a clean kitchen with all that we needed to make a meal for ten. However, there were s few things that prevents me from recommending to a larger group like ours. 1. The dishwasher was not working. You put in a dishwasher tablet and it's not even resolved. For our larger groups who did some cooking, it was a disaster. The owner should really fix the dishwasher asap. 2. The fridge filter was old. So we did not trust drinking from the fridge and had to buy tons of bottled water for a week. The owner was informed and we were just told that they will replace it but won't arrive until we are gone. 3. Keurig machine wasn't working well. It needs descaling. But still makes coffee. We had ten people in our group and this is quite crowded.

We rented this property to host our family for our daughter’s graduation from Clemson University. The home was clean, beautiful & located right on the lake. We had the best time & felt fortunate to have found this wonderful home. In addition, our host Steven was super kind, attentive, & always available. He was fantastic. I would definitely rent this property again.

This house is de curated so adorably- and the kids loved the big bunk room where they could all sleep together. Only downside was the rain we had all weekend- so we will just have to come back again!

We had an amazing stay!! We visited Lake Hartwell for the first time and loved every minute! The home had everything we needed, plenty of space for everyone to relax. We loved the patio, spent many hours out there, since it’s shaded! The use of the grill was an added plus, close to town was also a nice perk! We will be back!

Great house! Great property management company! Perfect experience. Will definitely be renting this property again in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at this location. It is a very comfortable home, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The downstairs is a kids dream! Our combined family of kids 3 from ages 9-11 thoroughly enjoyed being able to have a play area away from the adults! We all enjoyed the opportunity to fish and swim from the dock. The lake is amazing. Rent a boat if you can, it docks nicely and let us come and go as we pleased!

I wanna start off by saying we paid a lot of money for a very short period of time for this rental. The house itself is very charming lots of added decor but we felt as though this was a new rental that is maybe not quite ready to be rented Or if rented not at this high of a rate at this time. There are many things that are needed to make this an enjoyable stay. The attraction to go to the lake obviously is to be on the lake and while having A dock is great having no chairs to sit on makes no sense whatsoever. There are also some safety features needed a basic step from the porch to the stairs going down to the lake instead of a cinder block is super important and also having some sort of railing on the stairs going to the dock would be super helpful. One of the other things that jumped out immediately when we got there was a built-in cutting bored that was covered in food and was very dirty also there was food in the drain of the sink, and there is no disposal. The kitchen is pretty equipped but definitely needs wine glasses and a large fry and pan. Although we made it work with our big group of people there are only two bathrooms in this home and a third would be ideal or at least a powder room. It’s hard when the home advertises that it sleeps 20 but then only has two bathrooms. Without having extra bathrooms at least mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful. The porches were filthy with pollen etc. and definitely should’ve been cleaned before arrival. It also would’ve been nice to have had a television downstairs… With a big group and only one TV that was a challenge from time to time. I will say that the mattresses and the money that they have put into the mattresses is great and they slept very well. I just feel like we paid a too much for what we got!
