This condo will be the perfect spot to serve as your home base during a fun-filled Sugar Mountain vacation! The wood-burning fireplace keeps you nice and toasty as the snow falls outside, and when it warms up you can step outside onto your balcony and soak up the sun. The mountain views are stunning, no matter the season. After a long day, you can relax inside with a show playing on the flatscreen TV or make a delicious meal in the lovely full kitchen. The community also offers its residents access to the shared pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym, so you won't be lacking in things to do even if you never leave the property! This suite is perfect for ski enthusiasts, as the home is located only three miles from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and is close to many other resorts, such as Grandfather Mountain, Rough Ridge Lookout, and Linville Caverns. If you're visiting during the warmer months or are not a skier, the area is also full of hiking trails to explore. Things to Know High-speed internet for remote workers and students! Private washer & dryer Please note that the two red sofa chairs are twin beds. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Location is great, really beautiful scenery, close to many interesting attractions, restaurants and anything you need. Staff was great and the amenities in the building were ok.

Beautiful views, comfortable living room furniture although the furniture could use some cleaning, stains and marks from previous guests. Plenty of space, pretty much everything you need in the kitchen, altogether it was pretty nice. Pool was nice and spacious. Having to shuttle back and forth to the parking lot was not ideal but the weather wasn’t terrible so it wasn’t as much of a hassle as it could’ve been. My daughter loved the decor with the cows.

The weather was perfect, the people I met were fun and smart , the restaurants were delightful and that view of Grandfather Mountain was unparalleled!

We really enjoyed this property. It sits about 5,000 feet above sea level. The view is lovely and the overall facility is very nice. I really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and steam room. I highly recommend this property.

VIEWS BEAUTIFUL. Condo dirty and Vacasa offered to clean or resolve, but did not follow up. There were used tissues on the window sill, crumbs on the floor and on furniture, beer cans and cigarette butts on deck, toothpaste splattered in sink.

The unit was great. Clean, excellent views (when we could use them), and well maintained. Our issue was with the facility. They are doing maintenance work on the outside of the building which blocked our balcony for most of the stay. Constant wastewater flowing onto the balcony and construction dust in the air. Had to keep curtains closed as workers were on lifts outside the windows frequently. Brought this to the attention of the booking agency but nothing was ever done. A notice that the entire facility is under construction would have been helpful in the description. Would have booked elsewhere. This was hazardous and neglectful. Would advise others to not use Vacasa as they don't care for your safety or quality of your vacation.

Check in was easy, parking is different as you have to park at a lot lower and be shuttled up and down. When we got there the condo the beds were left as they were from the previous renters so we had to wash everything, went to make dinner and there was a old pizza left in the oven. Reached out and all was said was “sorry for the inconvenience” will not rent from the property management again if this is how they hold their cleanliness.

The checkin went smoothly and we received quite a bit of communication prior to our arrival. The keyless entry didn’t work and we were locked out of our unit on the morning we needed to leave. We were told a local rep would contact us within 15 minutes and it was 2 hours later before a customer service rep contacted us.

Wasn’t the property I viewed online but it was fine. Didn’t know that there was no AC only one ceiling fan , but did have a couple of sitting fans, no screen on sliding glass door. But overall comfortable

Loved the view and the space of the rental, but I wish it'd been clearer in the description that it doesn't have air conditioning and that you have to take a shuttle for parking. Neither were deal breakers but it would've been nice to know going in. It's a bit dated but very well maintained. They were working on the exterior while we were there so the noise and fumes were a bit of an intrusion but it's something that has to be done. All in all we had a great visit and we're thankful to have had this space for making memories.

A well furnished appartment, comfortable beds, magnificient view. Free wifi. Although some things are a bit outdated. But all over very much recommended. Very nice is also the free spa in the building.

Had an amazing stay checking out the surrounding areas. We skied, tubbed and checked out the alpine coaster. The views were amazing. The shuttle service was a hassle but just factored in more time to make it to our desired location. Loved the inside pool and hot tub. The Condo was beautiful and spotless. Would highly recommend

Comfy retreat with Great views
Most importantly the entire condo was spotlessly clean. We made all of our breakfasts and dinners there and had the utensils etc we needed available. We loved the Scotland theme that the decor features. Will certainly be staying there again

The view was amazing.. amenities area was very useful and nice. Great location.. shout out to Chuck, Brian and Robert great guys to get to know when taking a lift down to your vehicle. Plan to return. Thanks for letting your home be our home for a week!

Condo needed a deep cleaning
We arrived at the condo and it has not been cleaned. I guess the cleaning staff had a hard time catching up. We left and got back at the evening to leave them some room for cleaning. Even after they came to clean, the tile floor remained sticky. Towels and bedsheets were missing too (only four sets out of 5). We had to call Vacassa again and next day they dropped off a plastic bag with few bedsheets and towels in front of the door. Besides the mentioned above, we've noticed that, in general, the condo needed a deep cleaning. Dust was very, very obvious in places that are very visible. Bottom of oven was just as dirty as it could get. Washing machine was full of dust. Opening the lid of the washing machine made you don't want to use it. We did not use it for that purpose. It would be nice to have at least one hair dryer available at the location. Vacasa staff was really responsive but obviously the cleaning company was not the best one they could have hired or there is a shortage of people. We don't know that. Also, Vacasa needs to make sure that little things are available, i.e. hair dryer, baking pan etc. Price was the best of all other companies online, therefore it was worth it.
