If it is not for the strange requests from the host, I would leave a positive 7-8 stars review for the apartment as worth for its money. It is not a 5-star apartment, but you shouldn't expect it for this price in Biarritz/Anglet in high season. The location is calm, the supermarket & the tank station is in 5 minutes. If you are ok to travel 10-15 minutes by car to the top beaches, it suits you perfectly. Be aware, that to park near the beaches after 12 o'clock is quite difficult. The house have a good territory with barbecue and trees - your kids will 100% enjoy it. The apartment itself is clean and cosy. The bed in the remote room is 140×190 and the sofa 140x190 in the passage room are relatively comfortable. Take note that bed linen and towels are not provided! The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, toaster and kitchenware. The is a washing machine in the bathroom. The bathroom is "old-school" but spacious. However, the the water in the bathroom drains slowly and you come out after a shower in ankle-deep water. To sum it up, this is not a bad summer house if you are not a demanding guest and is ready to put up with minor inconveniences given that the majority of apartments in Biarritz near the ocean costs twice that price. But all that would be relevant only in case the host won't request strange things.

We were upset by the requests from the host 1) At the end of our stay we left the apartment in its original state - cleaned the dishes and put all the kitchenware & houseware in the original places. What a surprise was to receive the next day a damage request of 50 euro for "The apartment was not cleaned: bathroom, kitchen, stairs etc." To clean the stairs (by the way there was no dirt their), seriously?!!! 2) At the check in we were asked to pay a "tourist tax" of apx 46 euros. It was only after we paid it when I decided to check the information in the booking.com and found nothing about extra charges! There is no air conditioning, however if the temperature is below 30 it is not a big problem. The light in the kitchen was faulty.
