Tragopan is a very nice hotel. Very clean and efficient. Staff is really nice. And very helpful. They made an extra effort at answering my questions related to local matters. I also liked the fact they have good newspapers such as the Morung Express ready for people to read. They also took good care of my clothes, which I had given for washing.
a little bit water did not get drained in the shower area. So they could double-check the flooring in the bathroom.

The room was okay. I liked that it had a table and chairs. It was a bit run-down though.
I didn't like the stringent controls, taking pictures of me and even my guest, just to check in. It has never happened to me in any hotel in Nagaland or India before... It made me feel uncomfortable.
The staff were okay but not particularly warm or welcoming. They just focus on these strange administrative protocols and then leave you to take your bags to your room yourself. And see yourself in.
I also didn't like the long power cuts at night, because the AC and fan stopped working and I got plagued by mosquitoes.
