Situated in St Marys, this lovely condo for $98 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Welcome to Historic St. Marys! This studio apartment is located above a 2 car detached garage. It has a private entrance through the garage, next to a beautiful pond, and up an enclosed stairwell. Inside there are 2 full size beds with 1200 thread count linens. The sitting area features a full size leather couch, coffee table and a flat screen TV . You will also find an oversized work desk with plenty of outlets to charge your gadgets so you can stay connected while you are away....if you have to. We have blazing fast WiFi throughout the studio. There is a breakfast table that seats 4, coffee maker, microwave, and a counter height fridge. We have provided a selection of snacks along with bottles of water. At the beverage bar we’ve provided a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates, for your enjoyment! The bathroom has a shower with sliding doors, soft towels, wash cloths, soaps, lotions, individual makeup wipe removers, q-tips, hair dryer and toilet paper (NOT the cheap stuff) — all stocked and waiting on you! There is a dedicated outdoor parking spot with river rock walkway to the covered entrance. Enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs having coffee (or tea) while you watch the ducks play in the fully stocked pond. Feel free to make friends with them— their food is in the silver bucket by the chairs! There are 2 picnic tables to enjoy take-out from some of our local restaurants. Take in the sun rise or sun set on the deck over the pond. Sit and listen to music or just enjoy a quite night under the stars with a glass of wine. Owner has a friendly older dog (her name is Kizzy) that sun baths outside and can be petted. -3 miles from ferry dock to Cumberland Island and downtown St. Marys many restaurants & shops -4.7 to Kings Bay Navy Base

Making the reservation was easy to do. Directions to the apartment were perfect. The apartment is impeccable and supplied as stated on Vrbo. The host was immediately responsive to a question i had. St Mary's itself is super quaint and a tight knit community. So much so that we met the owner's nephew on the Cumberland ferry and also a neighbor. Highly recommend this apartment and can't wait to return.

This was a very cozy guest house, mattress was good, the bathroom was well equipped, hair dryer, magnifying mirror for my wife make up, plenty of towels and toiletries. There is no stove to cook but there is a coffee machine, microwave, cups and plates. Simple check-in and check-out. The owner, Mile, was very friendly and open to help us. We enjoyed our stay.

Very, very cute garage apartment that is super clean! Beds are so comfy and the sheets are wonderful. Spacious bathroom with plenty of towels and washcloths provided. Fridge is stocked with drinks and they even have snacks for their guests. We will definitely stay here again.

The studio apartment was very charming and tastefully decorated. It was also very clean. We loved it and didn’t want to leave. Our host Mike was a true southern gentleman and we loved his dog. We plan to go back in the fall!

Our stay at the carriage apartment was just what we needed. So relaxing and peaceful. And the pond with the turtles and ducks is fun to feed them and watch them. The host Mike was fantastic and his dog Kizzy was nice too. Everything was perfect. Great place to stay. We will be back!!!! It was great.

I loved everything about this carriage house. The decor, the cleanliness, the shower but ESPECIALLY the beds! Literally the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It is next to a train track, so if you are a light sleeper, just know that. It didn't bother me. I slept like a baby. I will stay here next time I visit my son at the Naval base. He loved it as well.

Just a perfect setting..on a little pond greeted by Kizzy the old sweet dog along with mallard ducks/ geese.very private …beyond clean ….very comfortable beds .They literally thought of everything .Perfect little touches beyond compare to any where I have stayed ..and I traveled for work weekly for 30 years. Close to downtown area which is beautiful . Stay here I assure you ..will not be disappointed.

Mike’s place was more than perfect! Cleanest VRBO we have stayed in…absolutely spotless. Beds were comfortable, and the area provided a quiet night’s rest. St Marys was so much fun to explore. I even walked from Mike’s to the waterfront…everyone who drove by waved. I love to walk and St Mary’s provided a safe environment. Go to Cumberland and take the Land and Legacy tour…Mike might even be you guide.

Definitely one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have ever stayed at. Although it is a studio apartment, it is spacious and well designed with lots of natural light. The beds are comfortable, the shower has lots of hot water and the kitchen area is set up with everything you will need for your stay, including several kinds of coffee and snacks. Everything is exquisitely clean and tidy. Our host was welcoming and a great source of local information. This is a wonderful base for exploring the area and visiting Cumberland Island. We hope to return soon!

Best nights sleep in ages. Loved the place and it was everything described. We took the Land and Legacy tour to Cumberland and had a really great time there and in the town of Saint Mary's. Great places to eat, beautiful views, Cumberland Island, and a wonderful place to stay. What a nice weekend! Mike's a great host!

Everything was amazing the carriage house was adorable! ADORABLE! Very clean and tidy housekeeper left her number on the check in sheet but we didn't end up needing it very short drive to the Cumberland island dock Only thing I know for sure is next time I will have to stay longer! Host was very helpful and definitely would be happy to book with him again!

We had just the best getaway in St Marys. The apartment was perfect for this- central location to visit Cumberland Island, Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, Brunswick. It was cozy, clean, well stocked with coffee and snacks, and so comfortable. Enjoyed fly fishing on the pond. Mike was a great host. We found that area full of nice folks and great food! Always wanted to visit Cumberland Island and so glad we did!
