Overall great place to stay. We were having a crafting weekend, so we chose the place mostly based on table space. For 3 unrelated adults it was decent. The 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom being up in the attic was a touch too creepy (very creaky, very short ceilings in walkway, very steep stairs) and we opted to make use of the bunk beds downstairs. The weather was absolute crap when we were there (55 and RAIN), but the location would definitely have been a very nice walk to town and the beach. Ditto for the yard. Looked awesome; weren't able to take advantage this time. Everything was very clean and worked well, even the stove. We only ran into 2 issues the whole time, neither of which was critical, but just enough to be a bit irritating. 1) the Smart TV needed a login in order to use apps that weren't already installed (and only a handful of the streaming apps were already there). I had brought a chromecast, so it ended up working out for us. 2) There was insufficient lighting in the main living areas. Not just insufficient for the crafting we were doing, but like, really dark. Obviously the listing photos were taken on a sunny day, which is great, but there were only two table lamps in the living and dining areas and the ceiling lights (while ADORABLE) were utterly useless. Which meant we were opening all the blinds in an attempt to see during the day. I think it's time to update the chandeliers. But overall great, would totally stay again.

Our time at Sun Haven was wonderful. The location was ideal, just over 2 blocks to the lake and 5-6 to town. Our family enjoyed many games on the big dining table and reading in the chairs in the nook. Overall the home was clean, stocked, and met our needs nicely; a few blinds in the nook were missing the wands to open/close, so our children couldn't open them, but my husband and I could reach the connector to do so. Shores personnel were very easy to contact and responded quickly and thoroughly; we felt valued for sure. Our kids are already asking when we can return and I am sure we will.

Loved the location. About 2 blocks to beach and 6 blocks to town. Property was a little older, but nice and cozy. A little dust on the wooden bunks (just did a quick dusting so my kids’ allergies wouldn’t act up) and the blinds a bit dusty and missing a few wands so they were hard to open but overall clean. Great shelving in the upper bedroom and bath to lay clothes and toiletries. A little stuffy especially upstairs but once the air conditioner started it was fine. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect little place for my husband and I, 2 teenagers and my mother-in-law.

This was a great property. It’s a bit smaller than anticipated and I don’t think the “sleeps 9” is accurate. There was some trouble getting in and we were given the wrong code, but we called and were able to get that sorted after 15 minutes.

The location you can’t beat. There was some miscommunication with the checking process but was eventually resolved (I am sure it would have been quicker if it was before 5pm). We do wish we knew that Kid’s corner was closed for renovations but overall the house was nice.

The home is beautiful and worked well for our family of 6 including two young children. It’s close to the beach, town, and the Kids Corner playground. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and reading in the chairs in the nook.

Could hardly ask for a better house and location - about 4 blocks to the beach, about 4 blocks to town - for whatever the group wants to do. Charming craftsman four square with a lot of cool vintage touches - from light switches to door casings and baseboards. The only caution is to be clear the "sleeps 9" description does include 2 on a sleeper sofa. All in all 5/5...definitely would repeat!
