I am usually the last person to leave a negative review but I was waiting for the chance to review this property! I’ll just hit the high points-toenail clippings on the floor of the bedroom, 2/3 bathrooms had ZERO toilet paper, no clean towels, one bed didn’t have sheets, several flies around the house, dirty kitchen towel hanging from the dishwasher, funny smell downstairs, dust hanging off the ceiling fan, wifi didn’t work, dirty towels and sheets still wet in the washer…neighborhood was rough but that was the least of our concerns. The cleanliness of the property was way more frightening than the neighborhood. I was honestly worried we would end up sick or with bed bugs. Unfortunately we didn’t find out about the sheets and towels, toilet paper issue and toenails until midnight our first night there when it was too late to find another place to stay. We slept on towels and blankets we had in our cars (luckily) and made the best of it for one night. We left the next morning and actually paid to rent a hotel room for the rest of our stay. The host and VRBO are well aware of all of the issues (WITH PICTURES). We have asked for a refund and there has been no response from the host. Vrbo states these are “minor issues”—definitely not minor in my opinion. Disgusting and so disappointed.

The pictures of this place looked lovely, and so we rented this unit for 2 weeks. This unit is on a cul-de-sac of matching townhomes. The cul-de-sac sits one street off of a main road with 4 -5 lanes. This area appeared dangerous to us, with drug deals happening within daylight and a lot of homeless. Upon arrival to the neighborhood, we surprised to see all other units with gutters falling off, paint chipping - all in very poor repair. As we entered the unit, the doors were not secure enough for our peace of mind nor for safety. We notified the owner immediately and asked for a refund stating we did not feel safe with our young girls to stay in this area. We also told her about the gaps in the front and back doors. She said she would refund us in full. After many phone calls and texts, to this day, she has not fulfilled her promise to reimburse us for NOT staying in her unit. She is unethical, and I do not recommend that anyone trust her nor stay at this location.

Once we saw the neighborhood this townhouse was in, we did not even stay at this property. It was in a sketchy place with trash/junk around it, guys wearing undershirts standing around less than 10 feet from the driveway where we would have been unloading our stuff if we'd stayed, and the yard was not taken care of as it is in the photos (looks good in the listing but in actuality the shrubs were dead and shutter was falling off the wall). We immediately called to say that we can't stay here with our kids and the listing is misleading. We lost all our money..owner was rude and wouldn't refund anything, not even the cleaning fee and we didnt even stay there at all for them to have anything to clean! Vrbo didnt consider the unsafe terrible neighborhood to be a reason for refund. But it was probably cheaper than coming out and finding our car broken into, so we had to chalk it up to lesson learned. Don't make the same mistake.
