If some time away from the beach is in order, stretch your legs at the Holden Beach family park, basketball court and children's outdoor splash area, a 5 minute walk away. For dog owners: If your dog is housebroken and does not chew on household items, they are welcome at Life is Shore-t. If you bring your dog, pick up pets waste and dispose of properly. The outdoor shower includes a handheld shower head to make washing off the kids and pups a breeze. Note that Holden Beach does not allow dogs on the beach from May 20th to September 10th between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Up to 2 dogs are included in the dog fee.
