Een mooi en ruim appartement met een goed uitgeruste keuken, zelfs afwasmiddel en vuilniszakken was ter beschikking. Dus je moest niet meteen naar de winkel te gaan. Er is trouwens een vrij grote supermarkt met versafdelingen op 50 m afstand.
Helaas de airconditioning was alleen in de woonkamer en niet in de slaapkamer. Misschien een staande ventilator zou daarbij kunnen helpen. Als je met een volgeladen auto aankomt dan is dat lastig want er is geen plaats om je auto uitladen. Dat hebben we gedaan op een bewoners parkeerplaats met knipperlicht aan. Er is dichtbij een parkeergarage maar als je een zeldzame plek vindt tussen witte lijnen daar kun je gratis parkeren.

The city center is really close by foot. The furniture is modern and very nice and the flat is arranged tastefully in general. The parking (16€ per day) is also very close to the flat, which is convenient. The help book which is in the flat is useful and it was very nice to have it and read the recommendations. The elevator is fast and the building did not feel overcrowded.
The check in was a bit odd, but is worked out well with the prompt help of the friendly host.
There was a used cleanex lodged in the matress and a small medicine wrap in the drawer (left by the previous guest), but other than that, very clean, neat and organized.

We very much liked the good location which is accessible in a couple of minutes walk from the Trieste Centrale train station. We liked the good-looking old Triestine house inside out and the flat with a private balcony.
The kitchen is very well equipt, we prepared a few meals. Grocery shops are also near. The bathroom is exceptionally good - bigger than usual with big shelf space. The bed is very comfortable. Definitely, a nice place to return to.
During the day the place was really bright, however, in the evening there were not enough light sources (just 2) to create a cosy atmosphere. Adding some more lamps would be a good idea. Collecting and returning keys was a bit unusual, but effective.
