The property is being renevated and you can smell the new carpet in the hallway outside the room while we were there. The property felt secure and we didn't have any concerns of security. I checked for bed bugs upon arrival as always and it was free and clear and the mattresses looked clean under the sheets. The main bed wasn't the most comfortable but it was decent enough. There was dove soap shampoos and conditioner in each bathroom and plenty of toilet paper. There was a hair dryer provided that was surprisingly stronger than I expected, and the fridge was also clean. We didn't use anything else that was there. The balcony was nice and there were left over beach chairs. Just to be clear the balcony over looks the parking lot not the beach which was fine for us. The property is a short walk to the beach and not too far either. We would stay here again in the future.
Once walking in there was a slight musty smell I thought was from cleaning supplies but I would notice it everytime I walked back in. It didn't bother us to much and was only noticeable if you hadn't been in the room for a good bit. There was no TV in the main room but was one in the smaller room. We ran out of towels pretty quickly and as there is a place to do laundry down the hall, and there were laundry packs provided, we didn't have any extra time to wash them on our trip.
The most annoying part was a sound that happened every night and I still don't know what it was. The best way I can describe it is it sounded like it was the floor under us, it sounded like heavy metal doors shutting 1 by 1 down a hallway and 1 was so loud it sounded like it was in the room with us. I doubt doors would be slamming like that every night that early in the morning but that's the best I can describe it as. It woke us up all but 1 morning around 2-4am.
