Went to NC as son is in military and wanted visit to include him. The property is beautiful and well represented in VRBO. Very close access to beautiful beaches and not far from everything. Decks with beautiful views of untouched marshlands. Regarding the property, everything was nice and in good order. No burden check in, checkout. Couple small things that need to repaired like some of the handles on cabinets but all together a very nice place Would return in the future. Would be a very nice property for a couple of families to be together.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Bay II. It was such a beautiful and clean home and we couldn't ask for better views. The property is so conveniently located to everything we needed!

House was wonderful and comfortable for 9 people. Description was misleading about convenience and close proximity to beach. A 3 minute drive but couldn’t park at the parking lot. Walking was hazardous crossing major highway and was not convenient carrying beach equipment.

The house is beautiful and is in a great neighborhood. It is exactly as pictured. Our family had a range of ages 5 to 80. Everyone enjoyed the house. It gave us plenty of room to spread out. The elevator was wonderful for folks that struggled with stairs. We loved the decks, especially the one off the main floor. We had breakfast outside nearly every morning. I have always preferred to stay oceanfront but decided to try staying on the sound side. Staying here has convinced me that the sound side is much better. It is quiet, relaxing and offers beautiful views. We did not walk to the beach from the house since we had several people in our group that had health issues, and we had ALL the things...chairs, boogie boards, coolers, etc. We chose to drive to the public access by the DoubleTree by Hilton. Parking is $10 per day on Saturday and Sunday and I believe it is free all the other days. I feel certain that the walk to the beach wouldn't have been too far, by the look of the beach access walk. However, I can't confirm exactly how far since we didn't try it. I would recommend this house to anyone. We truly enjoyed our vacation and hope to return here in the future!!

We came to Atlantic Beach for a family wedding. My confirmation email did not receive instructions regarding how to get into the house. The realtor, whom I rented the house from did not give me a phone number to reach her on, nor did she respond to my email the few days prior concerning obtaining a key. I called a random realtor who looked up the realtor's name and gave me a phone number. Not the best way to start the experience. The house was quite lovely. Unfortunately the master bath had some cleaning issues the day we arrived - but the property manager quickly took care of it. Again, the house was lovely. It was a little farther from the beach than indicated, but we made do. The top deck is in need of repair - you'll need shoes on it - but it's a lovely spot. I did not receive my deposit back from the realtor until I asked for it - 2 weeks after returning home. That was truly disappointing. And ... isn't this Vacation Rental BY OWNER? Finally, the book asks us to book directly with the realtor to save money on the VBRO fees. That felt really sleazy. VBRO pays for your marketing, they should get their share. I am sure I sound really fussy - I thought some of my experience could be helpful to another renter.

We had a fabulous family reunion here. House was very clean, perfectly equipped , and amazing views from the deck . We loved that you could walk to the beautiful beach (10 min walk) . We loved the outdoor shower . Having the elevator was very convient for the older people in our party. We couldn’t have been more pleased and would definitely stay here again!
