If flying into Airlie Beach it is highly recommended to either hire a car from the airport or get a taxi as this property it not suitable to travel via a shuttle company due to the steep hill and limited turning spaces. This was one of our all time favourite holidays. Nine islands was the ideal place to stay in the Whitsundays. We had stunning views, beautiful pool and all the amenities we needed. Surrounded by the rainforest on the ground floor, and on the top floor with views of the glorious sea. The amenities in this property were just right - they really had thought of everything. The place was absolutely spotless and so comfortable as well. The pool with fresh sea water was so lovely to dip into. We were able to pick perfectly ripened papayas, passion fruit and grapefruit from the rainforest downstairs. It was incredibly serene - nothing to hear but the waves and the beautiful birds. Whitsunday holiday rentals were also very good, and responsive. They organised someone for us to show us around the property and were easily accessible. ABES service provided for airport transfers and as also impeccable. Such great amenities at the foot of Mt. Whitsundays: Airlie beach market, fish divine and the deck. It was a truly relaxing experience, and I would highly recommend it.

Nine Islands was the perfect retreat. The breathtaking views across the rainforest canopy to the Whitsunday Islands was the first feature that we noticed on entering this haven. We soon discovered that these pristine views could be enjoyed from almost every room; even the bathrooms! We each found our perfect zone for some much-needed relaxation; for some their special place was lounging beside pool after a refreshing dip, for others it was reading in the swinging pod, while others enjoyed Scrabble marathons on the deck. Absolutely every detail of Nine Islands has been thoughtfully considered: from the abundance of coffee pods to the basket of pool towels, from the recommendations for exploring Airlie Beach and beyond to the well-equipped kitchen and the generous supply of toiletries.Nine Islands is a sanctuary that very comfortably accommodated all 8 in our group. There were zones that encouraged quiet contemplation and others where our families could gather to watch the sunset, talk, drink, eat and laugh.Nine Islands and its surrounds were so peaceful, the only option was to unwind and leave feeling refreshed.

This property is magnificent in many aspects. From the owners personal homely touches of endless coffee pods, personal paintings, zen gardens with hanging pods, comfortable bedding, mod con features, Balcony with endless views & cool breezes, also aircon throughout, fire place, games, puzzles & books supplied, binoculars, plung pool. There is loads of thought out into this home for a long stay. The outdoor rainforest feel shower was the ultimate experience or soaking in the beautiful bath. The location is ontop of a mountain so peaceful & scenic. Tennis court located within the gated community. Definitely highly recommend this property.

Where to start? Amazing water views? Tick. Rainforest serenity? Tick. Close to town but feels like you are the only people on the mountain? TickChampagne on arrival? Tick. Comfy beds? Tick. Private rainforest shower looking over the ocean? Tick. This house takes luxury accommodation in Airlie Beach to a new level. The house is amazing. The balconies are unreal. The bedrooms are even positioned in the direction that you wake up with water views but not the sun in your eyes. Little design features like this just add to the luxury experience. Perfect place for that special anniversary or occasion to just switch off from busy lifestyle and just enjoy the finer things in life...We will be back!
