We had a great time at Red Oak Retreat! The house worked great for our two families! Black stone was great for cooking breakfast and the hot tub was perfection after hikes!

For Starters I would like to say my family and I really enjoyed ourselves. We are currently planning a trip to return in the summer of 2023. When we first arrived the first things we stated was “OMG”. The cabin was beyond beautiful and way more than we expected (in a good way). The cabins is even more beautiful in person. The cabin is suitable for all ages and has plenty of space. We had a age range from 5 months to adults and everyone felt comfortable. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. I really loved how the Cabin had 3 levels which gave the kids their own space and the adults their own space. I really enjoyed how convenient each level was (such as a microwave and refrigerator) on the ground level. The out door space was just as good, with plenty seating areas. The wrap around deck was truly amazing. The location is minutes from downtown Blue Ridge which was great. I will not spoil all the surprises that this beautiful gem holds. The only issue that we had which wasn’t a issue for the home, but the incline to the cabins had a roadway partially wiped out. This was the only issue we faced. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful location. The host was truly a blessing to my family and I. The response quickly and assisted with any questions that were asked. The host also made it convenient for us timely. ~Tez

Everything about this cabin was top notch. The beds were super comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and spacious. The kitchen was very nicely equipped for what we needed. The whole group truly enjoyed the stay. The cabin provides plenty of space that we were not all over each other for the whole week. The beautiful snow fall really was the icing on the cake on our first night there. Also GREAT communication with the host at all times. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a great time. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities but did use the hot tub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a nice quiet get away with the family. The cabin was extremely nice. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and other entertainment available at the cabin. We would definitely recommend staying at this property!

My family had a great time during our stay. We enjoyed making fires outside and being able to make breakfast on the blackstone. We enjoyed the privacy and it being so quiet. The hot tub was a hit with the kids as it was easy to get to just off the back door downstairs. We enjoyed ping pong, playing video games upstairs, and cooking. We would stay here again.

We had a Thanksgiving family gathering and the house was perfect. With 8 adults, one teen, and two infants we had plenty of room! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for our Thanksgiving cooking. What a treat to have the rolling tv so that we could watch football and soccer at the same time! There was so much room for us to all spread out in the two living areas and on the beautiful decks! The owners were very responsive. They had the cabin beautifully decorated for Christmas. We feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this gem of a rental!

Absolutely a beautiful cabin with comfortable furniture, bedding, etc. the wrap around porch, fire pit, 6 person hot tub, deep kitchen sink. Can’t complain! Enjoyed playing ping pong, warming up by the wood outdoor fireplace, & watching UGA play on the main level outdoor tv. Wished we had better luck with weather (overcast, foggy) because the scenery was lovely the morning we left. Our weekend felt way too short!
