Nestled in Lewis Smith Lake, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great option for your next trip. Home with separate guest cottage located on Lake Smith with easy walk to the dock. Located in a quiet cove off the main body of water. The boat traffic is very minimal, making it a wonderful place to float, kayak and swim. The home sits on a one acre lot with 230ft of waterfront at the end of a dead end road. Surrounded by trees and nature yet it is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes to Brothers Marina/ Restaurant (by car, 10-15 min by boat) and a 15 minute boat ride to Trident Marina and Restaurant. Cullman is just a short 20 minute drive for shopping, restaurants and groceries. Within a 10-15 minute drive is gas, boat launch and dollar general for any last minute needed groceries. The main home has been recently remodeled with all new paint, flooring, cabinets and countertops. It consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The favorite hang out is the large sunroom full of windows overlooking the lake. It has a dining table, couches and television along with a large swinging bench/bed. The main living room consists of a TV, large sectional couch and air hockey table. This is a great place for the kids to play while the adults enjoy the sunroom. The master bedroom is full of windows overlooking the lake. It has a full master bath and a door that leads to the back deck. The two other bedrooms have a Jack 'n Jill shared bathroom. There is a half bath off the kitchen. A large deck is located off the sunroom where you will find a hot tub and propane grill. The deck leads to a common outdoor area/patio with lots of seating, propane fire table and a wood burning chiminea. The guest home is only steps away from the main home. It consists of a queen bed and couch that pulls out to a full size bed. It also has an efficiency kitchen with a small refrigerator/microwave/coffee pot/toaster. There is a TV with a dining table that seats two. The full bathroom has a tub/shower combo, toilet and sink. The walk to the dock which is on a quiet cove is only 20 steps on an easy slope. The depth of the lake at the dock is about 15 ft when the lake is at full pool (510ft). We have three kayaks available for your use. We have cleats/bumpers to tie for your boat to, if you choose to bring one. (The boat lift will be in use and unavailable) There is a separate deck sitting over the lake which is a great place for fishing. Free fast Wi-fi is available. The outdoor areas are sprayed for mosquitos every two weeks. There is a large, flat, grassy front yard for the kids to play badminton, football or any other yard games you wish to bring. *In the winter months, due to the fluctuation of water levels at the lake, there may not be enough water at the dock to safely bring a boat. Alabama power company can drop the water levels up to 14 ft in the winter months. It is typically at the lowest November/December/January.*

We’ve been renting houses on Smith Lake for ten years and this has been the best yet, by far. The house is clean, spacious and well stocked. It even smells good and has soft towels! It feels like home, but with a beautiful lake. We will be back!

We had 7 adults between 60 & 84 Two had mobility issues. There are a few entrances that you have to step up . The highest being maybe 8-10 inches but with someone who uses a Walker it was scary for her. Everything else was great! We all had so much fun. Beautiful lake and property.

We had a great time at Lake Martin! This home was recently upgraded and is super cute and cozy. There is a lot of space for everyone, from the sunroom, to the deck and patio, to the guest house and fishing dock. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our week. The host was very responsive when we ran out of propane for the fire pit. She had a new tank delivered the next afternoon. Same thing when we couldn’t find the puck for the air hockey table. She had some sent over in a day. Overall, a great property! I would recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house with two of our daughters and two of our grandchildren. The large, level front yard was a nice treat for our grandson as it gave him plenty of space to run and play. We also thoroughly enjoyed the lake views from the hot tub as well as the beautiful lake views from the sun room as we ate our meals in there. The kitchen was well-stocked and the house is beautifully decorated. The location is private and very peaceful but you are not far from restaurants and stores, which was helpful for us. We had a couple of questions and Erika was very quick and helpful with her responses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful home.

We decided to reserve a lake house for 4 days over Christmas so that the entire family (including 2 infant grandkids) could be together without distractions or other commitments. This property exceeded all of our expectations. It started when we entered the house to find it fully decorated for the Holiday! We didn't expect this and in fact had purchased a "Charlie Brown" cheap tree at 5 Below to have something to place the presents under. No need because there was a fully decorated tree waiting on us! This may seem minor but it shows the attention to detail that we found throughout this property. One final note - the guest cottage was a great feature. My wife and I stayed in it while all others were in the main house. It gave us a periodic refuge when some down time was needed. We loved this house and hope to rent it again during an upcoming Summer to experience more of what the lake can offer.
