Unique experience in a very well designed house

The accommodation is unique with its style. It is very modern and stylish. I would name it a masterpiece of design. On the walls there are very beautiful paintings by the host. And all the design is also done by Anna. Awesome garden and flowers on balcony add some good space for relax. We really enjoyed our stay.

Really amazing house and lovely host! I felt very comfortable and at home in this place and it was the perfect location to get a bolt into town.

I liked the wet room showers but maybe some form of rubber mop or scraper to help the water go down afterwards would be useful as the floor would stay wet for a while!

Excellent location for temporary residence with pet in Vilnius.

The house is cute and lovely. There are many features you will not risk implementing in a regular place (many mirrors, partially glass ceiling), but it is great to spend a week or two in this comfortable house with its own character. The host is great and helpful, facilities are clean and new. The kitchen is small but even better than in the pictures. There is a place to walk your dog if you come together.

Quiet country cottage within Vilnius city limits.

Matilda's home is indeed lovely, with two comfortable bedrooms and 3 clean bathrooms. The garden is gorgeous. Our family cooked a few simple meals in the small kitchen . We used Bolt to get to the city center, and that was easy and affordable--about 6-8 Euros one way depending on the time of day. Vilnius is a very cool city to explore. The inside of the house looks exactly like the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks or runs.

Someone had to meet us in person to give us the key, which is usually a fantastic chance to meet the owner, but in this case our flight was delayed by 12 hours so we arrived after midnight and had to pay an extra 30 Euro fee for someone to meet us at that hour so we could enter the house. I understand that it's inconvenient to be up and working at 1am, so I suggest some kind of key lockbox system for late entrances like ours.

really enjoyed Matilda's

This is indeed a lovely little two bedroom cottage just outside of Vilnius, in a quaint little neighborhood. The area is quiet, there is onsite parking, and the house is well kept and airy with plenty of natural lighting and a relaxing small deck area. The host met us on arrival to orient us to the property (bearing delicious croissants), checked in periodically on our needs via WhatsApp, and communicated in advance and was unobtrusive when property maintenance was necessary (such as watering the lovely flowers and garden). Wifi was entirely sufficient for working, movies and Zoom and was accessed without difficulty. It makes excellent use of the space it has - the two bedrooms comfortably each accommodate a couple each with a bathroom (with shower if necessary), and the living room on the main floor has a couch on which an additional person could comfortably sleep (complete with an additional half bath). There is a small fridge, electric kettle, microwave and stovetop range for cooking essentials. Bonus is a clothes washing machine as well. Of note, it is no more than a 15 min drive to the Old Town with nearby bus stops if desired, and an ideal location for hikers or mountain bikers. It is very near both the Melynė bike park and Pavilnių regioninis parkas, with a plethora of cycling and hiking trails through those nearby woods, some with remarkable overlook views. Belmontas is also not too far (a small resort area popular with locals). Bicycles are available for rent in the city from several shops, and one (Velotakas) offers mountain bike tours of the area. The host also directed us to a charming nearby swimming hole, which was refreshing and quite popular with local families. Highly recommend!

No significant complaints; somewhat typical of similar residences in Europe however, note the fridge is quite small, there is no freezer for storing frozen food, and no oven for baking. Also, be aware the City of Vilnius has an additional tax requiring a small extra cash payment on top of the payment to Booking.com (this is indicated in the booking). Also, note the home is not fully accessible, and requires being able to successfully navigate a cobblestone-like driveway, stairs to each of the bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) and a set of outdoor stairs to the entryway of the home, some of which are uneven and without railing as additional improvements are being made to the property.

A perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city

Lovely stylish rustic loft and vintage summerhouse, perfect for a romantic retreat surrounded by a forrest, yet you have all the comforts of a city apartment. Cafes and shops are not within the walking distance, but the delivery services from shops and cafes will bring you everything you need. Wifi is fast; there’s a small playground just around the corner. The mornings and evenings are a delight with birds chirruping you away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There’s just one pan and one frying pan only , which made it challenging to cook because our 3-year old needed a separate menu( but it was just our personal need). Anyway, the host is a nice lady and is in touch whenever you need something
