We love staying in the main square and appreciate the convenience of being so central to everything in Zagreb. Without knowing at time of booking, we had stayed in the same building previously (different B&B) so had an idea of what to expect. There was a small area available to enjoy breakfast within the facility and the options were limited but very tasty. I know we paid for the location and that was the main factor for the booking on this occasion.
The instructions for obtaining entry were a little confusing. We were informed that the entry door was "next to the Kras Cafe" but when we couldn't find the door (right next to the cafe) and asked the cafe staff, they had absolutely no idea so perhaps the instructions need to be a little clearer to avoid confusion - the entry door is a few doors away from the cafe and not very well signed! Unfortunately the bed mattress was also not very comfortable and I still have a bruise on my shoulder from the bed frame when I tried to get out.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the city center. the staff was also responsive and the room was clean.
The furniture needs a quick fix. The bed support has come loose, and I also noticed that the chair and small desk are loose and wobbling. A simple repair should be sufficient.

Very central
There is an area for breakfast which is central to all the rooms which means you hear everyone talking while having breakfast as is the reception area therefore you hear everyone coming and going
If you want to sleep in the morning it will be hard as you will hear the people having breakfast and checking out right next to your room
The room is a bit outdated
The breakfast was basic
