Location and size

The whole house was freezing cold, no welcome pack or any guide for restaurants/pubs to eat out, no instructions for use of heating system, Sharon was really helpful by text and managed to get it sorted, however we had to put it on high and keep it high with it being a very large house and so cold from the start, then I received a text from DAVE saying if we didn’t turn the heating down then he would charge us for it. I thought that was diabolical and intimidating, we took the property on heating included and didn’t expect a rude message like that

Pretty much everything. Especially the pool table. Really well decorated and homely.

Only issue was that the beds were a bit too soft and could feel the springs in the mattress at times.

Convenient for our group and the event we attended.

The beds were not comfortable. Lack of parking.

The location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the centre of Ilkley.

Excellent location very clean and nice layout plenty of crockery/ cutlery/ cleaning products etc

The comfort Eight in the party ( can actually take 10) but only 5 comfortable chairs & a bean bag No curtains or blinds at the lounge or kitchen windows. overlooked at both sides so felt very exposed when the lights started fading. Beds were all very uncomfortable ( very spongy)

The property is only a few minutes walk from Ilkley town centre and is very well presented. The furnishings are lovely and we all found the beds to be very comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, pans, crockery, glasses etc. The younger adults enjoyed playing pool, it was a bit of a challenge as the pool table is located in the basement and there wasn’t much space around the table for cues when playing. I’ve seen on previous reviews about there being no bannisters on the stairways, I can confirm all the stairs now have bannisters.

The ground floor is an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and is double aspect with residential streets to the front and rear of the property, however neither windows had any blinds or curtains to close at night so we did feel a bit exposed on an evening. Perhaps the house is a work in progress and blinds will be added at some point.
