Relax in the oversized bathtub with its' 10 jets. Take a short ride to Bar Harbor or enjoy the out-of-the-way hiking areas, ponds and restaurants at the beginning of Down East Maine. This house was lovely and just what you would expect for a house in the country in Maine. It is, however, quite far from Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was almost 45 minutes away from the first entrance to Acadia National Park.

Summer Getaway
We wanted to stay near Bar Harbor, but not on Mount Desert Island. This was the perfect distance away from the island.

Lovely Maine house
Well-equipped, peaceful, spotless rural Maine house. 40 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Communication with owner was excellent. Highly recommend.
