One’s options are limited when one waits until the last minute…The pictures of the property were accurate, and the residence itself was clean. And the water pressure was adequate, the air conditioner worked and there were no mice or roaches evident. There were small ants present though. The obvious description left out of the property’s web page is that this residence is a mobile home with a roof and porches attached. The furniture is well worn (not a problem- we didn’t expect brand new furniture. That doesn’t make or break the trip anyway. But the chest of drawers is broken in the second bedroom and the door stop is loose in the frame of the master bedroom door. The grass in the yard has obviously not been cut in weeks-not an exaggeration. There are several low spots in the yard that allow standing water which is probably why the mosquitoes were a nuisance. The gravel road to the residence has washed away, leaving a huge rut running across the road near the residence and mobile here me next door. And I won’t even go into a long story about the owner changing her/his mind while we were en route about allowing us to bring our dog, then charging about a night’s stay extra for a four night stay (for the dog). The property management company communicated very well, although the required app did not work for me. I blame myself for getting surprised by this property. I am also surprised that this property is even listed by the management company.

We are building a home nearby and needed a place that was relaxing and accepted dogs. This simple cottage has been perfect, a quick block to the beach and everything we needed to unwind after laboring all day. It's a private lot at the end of a quiet street, where our dog loves sniffing about the grassy yard. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is equipped with what we need to cook, but if we want to head out, the cottage is close to plenty of restaurants. The "loud" seaside decor, honestly has grown on us. Whimsical and humorous! In general, we have come back each time we've needed a place to land while we worked in town--we come home, head to the access point at the end of the road for a sunset, then come home kick back and watch the pay channels or sit on the porch listening to the frogs and owls and watch the deer. We had one hiccup when we extended our stay and the codes were changed, but management solved it pronto.
