The location of this condo was truly amazing. Literally steps from the beach with easy access made watching the sunrise each morning so easy and almost magical. No better location if you plan to spend time at the beautiful beach. The property managers were quick to respond to texts and questions and helped us very quickly late in the evening on our arrival night when we struggled to figure out where we were supposed to park. The condo itself is definitely dated and shows it’s age. However, we don’t need brand new to enjoy the beach! If you tend to be hot or are used to keeping your home at cooler temps, I’d recommend bringing a fan or two. The two small, older window units struggled to keep the condo cool during the day. We ran to the store and bought a fan, which seemed to help with that some! Unfortunately the condo wasn’t super clean. There were many dead bugs and cobwebs in the corners and on the walls. There was a liquid if some sort that had spilled on the kitchen floor by the fridge but hadn't been cleaned up so it left a residue on the floor. The bathroom sink had black dirt/bugs on the counter top. The bathtub didn’t drain well and we ended up standing in a couple Inches of water when showering. We didn’t call about the cleanliness issues simply because we brought our dog with us and didn’t have anywhere for her to stay if we had asked them to come back out to address the bugs and cleanliness issues. While I believe the company would have come out to address the issues, it was disappointing that it wasn’t cleaned well before we arrived. Overall, for us, the location made the stay as enjoyable as it was. Hopefully as this condo gets rented out more, they’ll be sure to update the cleaning practices. We try not to let first impressions be our only impression or deciding factor, so we’d definitely try this condo again in the future. The location and gorgeous beach make it too hard to stay away! Also, we highly recommended Aunt Kate’s seafood restaurant! It’s about two miles from the condo and some of the best seafood we’ve ever had!!
