A quiet haven in the old town of busy Bologna.

We liked the location being in a quieter part of the old town and it's only a short walk to Piazza Maggiore and all the popular tourist sights. It's very close to the start of the amazing porticoed walk up to the Basilica of San Luca. The local restaurants recommended by our hosts were very good. The apartment is well presented, very cosy and comfortable with everything that we needed. The little roof terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast and the odd evening meal when we chose not to eat out. Davide and Noeme were very helpful, they let us drop off our suitcases before cleaning was finished.. We were very glad that Davide offered to carry them up the stairs for us. On the morning we left the apartment they went above and beyond to help us get away. What a lovely couple.

The Apartment is on the top floor so there are quite a few stairs to climb. It took 20 minutes to walk straight to the apartment from Bologna Centrale with our suitcases, enjoying the sights/getting our bearings along the way.

Het appartement was ruim en netjes. In de omgeving is ontzettend veel te doen en te zien. Koffiebars en restaurantjes om de hoek zijn erg goed. Wij hebben genoten!

Die Lage ist sehr toll, es gibt einen Balkon, man kann seine Wäsche waschen, unkompliziert selbst kochen und die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Es gibt nur eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer. Bei 34 Grad Außentemperatur haben wir den zusätzlichen Ventilator mit ins Schlafzimmer genommen, wo es trotzdem noch etwas warm gewesen ist. Der Rest der Wohnung (Bad, Esszimmer und Küche) war ebenfalls eher warm. Aber das ist im August in Italien natürlich nicht ungewöhnlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht super negativ beeinflusst.
