The facility is beautiful. I was greeted warmly as soon as my UBER pulled up to the entrance. The check in was fast and easy (thank you Gianfranco for remembering me and being so kind) the room was beautiful and spotless. The bed and linens were so nice and comfortable. My partner got a fantastic massage and spa treatment, she always tells me the spa and the people who work there are amongst the best she has ever encountered, and she is a self described “spa junkie”.
The fact that we can enjoy a resort like experience with a beautiful pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, gym and spa at the foot of the Oakland/Berkeley hills is really fantastic. The housekeeping and support staff are likewise great, warm and always available for any last minute requests like a vase for flowers. I love the Claremont and we will be back for sure. 5 stars all the way.

Hannah and the concierge were amazing. I told them about the special occasion I was there for - a Bob Dylan concert to celebrate my mom and dad’s 50th anniversary (and his passing a few months ago). They gave us a beautiful note and a bottle of Chandon.
What a class act. It meant so much to feel heard and gave that special touch.
Their food and drinks were also delicious. We had a gem salad with rotisserie chicken and lime drops (light on the simple syrup). For breakfast we split the bagel. Only a catch there, but they gave us crème freche instead of cream cheese and pickled onions instead of regular red onions. Note to room service: regular cream cheese goes on a bagel not crème freche and pickled onions go on tacos, not bagels. It’s a thing ;) Otherwise, stellar time and will be back. I loved how quiet the property was and the beds were super comfortable and fluffy, but not too soft.
