Thank you Astrid for a most warm and welcoming start to our stay and a fantastic recommendation to Tonys restaurant for dinner. The charming boutique hotel is conveniently and located, in front of a lovely wharf, client service is efficient and friendly, rooms are small but well appointed, and the healthy buffet breakfast is generous. Highly recommended and we would book again if visiting Copenhagen.

We thought the hotel, the staff and the breakfast buffet were excellent. The only downside was the quality of the pillows did not meet the rest of the hotel high standards. To hard, good dawn pillows would be perfect.

Nice little hotel with a pleasing asthetic and extremely close to the centre of the city and famous areas like Nyhavn, however the double bed room we booked consisted of two single beds pushed together with two single duvets which wasn't ideal for my partner and I.

We loved the location, the helpful nature of the entire staff and the warm and welcoming approach that was reflected in each of our interactions with the staff at the Strand Hotel. This was our first trip to Copenhagen and it was a wonderful trip, made more wonderful by our outstanding six-night stay at the Strand Hotel. We shall stay at the Strand the next time we're visiting Copenhagen.

The first time we stay at Copenhagen Strand Hotel in Nyhavn. Very good hotel, clean and comfortable room, good service and excellent varieties of good breakfast. In a 5 minutes walking distance from the busy Nyhavn street. A very good option when saying in the area.

As previous reviewers said, this is an outstanding modest hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is clean, with strong wifi, and an ample breakfast buffet featuring the local flavors. Walk easily to Nyhaven and other sights. If you don't mind the short walk, you can take the train from the airport as I did. I felt safe at all times as a solo female traveler. Highly recommend.

Room smell smoke, staffs were unfriendly

The Property is located a short walk from the Nyhavn area and the main Kongins Square. We had a Room looking on to the Canal. Big and bright. Note that the Curtains are not full Blackout with light getting in at top, bottom and sides. No Aircon but a Dyson Air cooler was procided which worked well. The only gripe I would have is the Noise from the Street below. There are Bars nearby eith music to the early hours, and groups of people sit opposite the Hotel yapping to the wee hours. On top of that there is the racket in thr morning usually between 6-7 am when Refuse Trucks, Bottle Collection Delivery Trucks arrrive. AGood nights sleep is not to be had in the front facing rooms. So it's the View or Sleep- take your pick. Otherwise good breakfast and helpful staff. Might stay again but defo in a room at the back. The extra cost if the front facing rooms is simply not worth it given the noise.

Super front desk team. Fantastic location for exploring the city on foot. Fantastic breakfast. Would have liked a top sheet and extra pillow.

Hall carpets could be a bit cleaner. Very pleasant hotel - not yet quite at the same level as other 4 stars but a very solid 3 stars for sure.

The Copenhagen Strand was a delight from the moment we arrived. The staff was so kind, warm and willing to do anything to make our visit a great one. I loved our cozy room. The buffet was delicious and had a good combination of Danish specialties as well as American staples. Friendly and peaceful inside as well as outside! The surroundings were beautiful and quiet.

Rooms are a weird shape so sharing a bed someone had to crawl over the other person to get out of bed. Great area, clean hotel

Amazing stay!

Very nice staff and very comfortable.

The staff is exceptional at this small hotel. Whether it was meeting us at the curb to assist with luggage or finding us restaurants, they were extremely helpful. Kudos especially to to Ann.

Excellent choice

It is in an excellent location, but the hotel is dated and the service is marginal to poor. The rooms are cleaned using the the rubrik of eco-friendly, which means they aren't, at least after the first few days. One can also think of it as a euphimism for not enough staff and poor management. So, if you want a good location, slightly over-priced 3-star hotel (it says 4, but it's really not) and can live in sub-standard conditions for a few days, this might be a consideration. I will post photographs on a well known map app.

Lovely hotel in a great position

My room as on the end of a hall on the top floor facing a parking lot where the construction and noise from construction and motorcycles was loud for many hours. When I checked in, I was told my room was located where it would be particularly quiet. The daily breakfast was amazing. There were so many choices it would be impossible for someone to leave there u satisfied.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is in a great location and everything is a 10-15 minute walk. Everything was clean and functioned well. Will stay again if in Copenhagen!

The hotel lobby staff was extremely helpful when I had mis-booked my stay for the wrong weekend. I was visiting the city from the USA. So grateful for the cheerful and helpful service!
