We will stay there again

There were a few things broken in our room. The safe was tilting on the wall, which is very dangerous because it may fall on someone. The safety handle in the bathtub was broken. Everything else was pretty good.

Customer service was bad. Would not give a paper receipt. First night I stay there and they did give paper receipt. I rebooked for second night and next morning I went to pick up my receipt and check out and manager refused a paper receipt. Manager was very rude, disrespectful,

A big issue: after taking a shower, opened the bathroom door, the smoke detector went off. Happened to both people in the room. Pro: Good location for why we came to Ennis. Cons: No bread offered with breakfast. There was a toaster but couldn’t make toast to go with the eggs and sausage. No Kleenex in the room.

Front desk staff wonderful. Room clean.

The hotel is a little tired but served its purpase. Staff checking in and out were very friendly and professional.

First room was awful . Bathroom toilet seat completely broken and off toilet. Second room had damage wall where the door stopper hits wall.

Nice, clean, comfortable bed, dining and shopping near by. Great value for the money. Breakfast was fine, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and all of the cold options. Nice stay

Well it started off wrong the bathroom was dirty with a dead bug in the tub but the nice man on the night resolved that issue the heat didn't work at all the nice man on the night shift resolved that too we were given a space heater next day there was no ironing board or iron so i called the front desk the not so nice man came to the room rough and ready like whats ur issues so i told him so he said the heater is equal to the wall unit and told him about other issues he wasn't compassionate at all Fri came i asked about room cleaning i was told they do it on the 3rd day of ur stay well this was it so i was told they will do it tomorrow and got up early so they could clean the room housekeeping was next door she said no we just give towels and trash i called the front desk for another not so nice man said we are short staff so we just do trash and fresh towels so a four night stay in a already not so clean room all u get is ckean towels and trash pick up and this only happened twice after the madness the lady did freshen up the room walls were dirty we killed 2 roaches just one of the worst stays if they gave me a free room i still would never stay there again but one good thing the bed was very comfortable.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Only problem I had was the heater in my room did not work and it was below freezing outside.

The toilet didn't work. Even after working on it it rain all night long we killed bugs

Easy access to hiway, clean fresh smell, comfy bed, abd all needed household appliences.

Staff was nice and the room was clean. If I had one complaint the breakfast time on the weekend should be later like 9am-11am, not 6am-9am. But all in all a good stay.

My stay was short but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable (important for a person with a bad back/sciatica!). Only concern was the bathtub stopper wouldn't hold in water for a bath but no biggie.

I came in about an hour before check in to request early check in. There was an extremely rude guy with a shiny bald head who told me before I even asked that check in time was 3pm. I just turned around and left. He didn't even let me complete a sentence. I returned a few hours later and spoke to a different person who was really nice and courteous.

This claims to have breakfast. That included juice/coffee and do it yourself waffles. No milk, cereal, yogurt or fruit much less anything hot. This is a poor example of "free breakfast". We opted to go get breakfast away from the property. There were no receptacles for recycling. Towels were small and thin.

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean. No pool even though a pool is advertised on the website. Breakfast was minimal. I got there at 645 am and all there was to eat was waffles and juice/coffee.

There was no breakfast, just a waffle machine that didn't work. Also, the air conditioner in our room would not hold a steady temperature. Very disappointing!

It was nice to have a refrigerator and a microwave. Room was OK but AC was rather noisy. The bathroom needed some touch up work on the walls where a previous towel rack was, and the bath tub plug was rusty. My wife and I stayed 3 nights and there was no maid service or towel exchange. Would have been nice if the desk clerk informed us of this. The "breakfast" was very disappointing. Mini waffle iron, white bread for toast, and finger size little cinnamon rolls and coffee.

Pictures show a pool got there and there is no pool it’s been concreted in. Went to take shower and a couple of roaches fell out of the shower curtain. Beds weren’t the softest and fridge didn’t get cold enough and spoiled the milk. Never ever again there. Not worth the money compared to the nicer motels.

I normally read reviews before I stay at a place and this time I didn't, so I missed the reviews about the roaches that were running on the carpet and bathroom. I even felt allergies, perhaps from the roach droppings or carpet dander. Although the rooms furnishings are new and modern, the roach infestation and noise from the freeway didn't let us rest or enjoy the place. They also only had waffles and juice available for continental breakfast. They needed much more. When we arrived, our son wanted to use a restroom and we were told that they didn't have any public restrooms even as guests that had already paid. This is the first hotel that claimed not to have a restroom in the front office area for guests. I would NOT stay there again.

The room was okay except for 2 things.. number 1 the TV would not change channels so we could only watch the news and they brought another remote but it didnt work either. They said they would discount our room but still waiting to see that. There were also some dead roaches in the bathroom floor.

It was a nice stay and the manager was quick to get us a room in the quiestest area of the hotel. The only disappointing thing was that it did not have an elevator. I should have checked on this ahead of time. Over all, great stay.
