The location, location, location was perfect for walking to the beach(es) and accessing South Haven's many cute shops and restaurants. The room was well appointed with quality towels and linens; the bathroom was spacious and offered a tub/shower. Parking was convenient and the place was spotless. Breakfast choices were tasty and all vegetarian friendly (no meat offered). There was free bottled water, coffee, tea available all day. The staff was very thorough in their instructions and clear about the expectations / consequences of specific instances (clearly they had individuals who took advantage to create visitor restrictions). Everyone was courteous but not super friendly. We would recommend adding a shield to the porch light to reduce the amount of light coming into the Samson room or adding room darkening shades.

Yelton Manor is a beautiful, quiet bed and breakfast. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Breakfast is excellent. Brownies at 4 are heavenly.

Beautiful place to stay

Yelton manor is beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious and has cute little nooks with seating and so much reading material and some board games. The issues are that the landscaping has clearly been neglected for quite some time. What appears to be seating areas are overgrown and unable to get too. Weeds and overgrowth hinder the beauty of the location. Walking in to the Manor is a smell of old dust. A nice deep cleaning is warranted. Was the place nice, absolutely. Just needed some extra care in a few areas. For the price you pay it shouldnt smell dusty and the landscaping be full of weeds.

Very nice amenities. Really love the proximity to the beach (quiet and peaceful). The Guest house is so cozy and elegant at the same time. The Manor house has so many books and crannies to relax with a good book.

Drain in hot tub did not work. Not many places to put clothes, etc. Other wise very nice. Would stay again.

There were home cookies and brownies there that were good. The included breakfast was good too. They had vegetarian options.

This is an one night getaway after a severe winter storm. We had found a relaxing stay at this very nice B&B. The keeper Bri was great, she had made our stay very comfortable.

Property was nice - I felt room was a little small. Shower was really small and bathroom as well. Very clean . Comfy bed could have used a warm comforter. Breakfast was really good . Unique tho

Completely satisfying for a classic B&B experience with a personal touch but with professional hotel-level amenities. Loved the books and decor elements pervading the spaces. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside is the price, but then again, we went at peak summer season, and the room was only about twice the price of a no-frills motel along the highway a bit out of town, in a much worse location.

Dan was so welcomeing. The room and house was so clean.hot shower and great breakfast. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great experience!!!

Down to the smallest detail, this Victorian era house was exquisite, and our room was very clean, our bed was very comfortable, enhanced with a fireplace and large jacuzzi bath. Breakfast on the white wickered sun porch, with glimpses of the Lake, was hard to leave, but we plan to return! Victoria was a most gracious, friendly and helpful hostess.

This place is charming! FIre in the fireplace, games and cards all around in small knooks around the house. Brownies out in the evening and candies all over! Great menu of brakfast items.

Clean and lovely place to stay.

It was a well kept bed and breakfast and the service was acceptable. You can hear a bit through the walls but was not too bad. The breakfast was good. Just a short walk across the street to the beach which was awesome.
