First of all, the hotell is a bit worn and old, but the staff was great, very nice and helpful. The room is what you pay for, as in the pictures. Its cheap and very conveniently placed in the heart of the town. Walking distance to the impressive churches, and nice resturants. Overall a good choice to stay and cant complain. There was a vending machine in the lobby with great choices and surpisingly cheap prices.

Sewerage smell in the bathroom was so bad you could not be in there. Worst is they knew about it. When I arrived late the room door was left open and so was the window. I went out not realising how bad it was. It was too late to move anyway. In the morning the owner lies about not knowing about it but mysteriously already knew the room number even though he wasn't working reception. The place is a dump. It's disappointing to find this sort of establishment can advertise on hotels.com

I was a bit harsh on a review I left earlier. I want rescind some of my harsh comments. The people are great who run the hotel. For 56 euro the room is worth it albeit the shower is very tiny and no where to place any soap or shampoo, poses a challenge. Breakfast is ok but mostly sweets. All in all it is a good place to rest your head for a very good price. Enjoy

We arrived early afternoon after less than ten minutes in a taxi from the train station,It's positioned right in the middle of the old town,within walking distance of all the attractions.Check in for nine of us was smooth and easy.The rooms and breakfast were pretty basic,but what stood out was the attitude of the staff.Throughout our two day stay they were friendly and helpful.If your looking for a cheap and cheerful stay in Reggio Emilia I would recommend this hotel.

The beds were very uncomfortable and hard to sleep on. An infestation of ants was discovered in one of our rooms. The shower head was broken, very little hot water and the shower did not drain.

I loved this hotel! The only negative was the tiny, poorly draining shower. Once we notified the staff of the drainage problem they fixed it immediately. Otherwise, the staff were wonderful, the breakfast spread was delicious and the location was perfect. It was very quaint. All the staff spoke English and were very helpful. Good value!

这是最差的垃圾酒店，床硬得要死，晚上根本睡不着，早晨就有人打扫卫生，吵得人睡不着。房间超级小，根本不值这个钱。我提出退房，这个酒店要加收一天房间的费用。 This the worst hotel ever experienced. Every person, please do not be alured by the lower price. You will find that it's still not deserving the money you pay. The bed is hard, and can not sleep. In the morning, there is sweeping noise, I could not sleep by such noise. The room is super small, and I ask to leave earlier, the hotel want to charge one day more. It's Super Rubbish!!!!

Stayed here as normal hotels were shut for holidays or full. I could go on for pages regarding the hotel and the various defects from the non-existent water coming out of the shower, the free parking (which was actually just on the road outside) the appalling food, the bedlinen with gaping holes in it. but suffice to say it is the worst hotel I have stayed in.

PLastic plates and mugs at breakfast!!!!! Breakfast food appalling -dry bread, sorry croissant imitations and juice I drinkable. We bought our own things to supplement it and noticed others doing the same. Rooms very basic even for 2 star . We booked it for location in central Reggio as other hotels were full but should have gone for something a bit better further out. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Would not book again.

was in Reggio on a study tour of the early childhood schools - this hotel was close to everything - the staff was super helpful - loved our bright pink room and huge window - still missing the perfect cappuccino's served every morning
