I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each room, not one cup at a time!

The employees are super friendly and helpful. The conditions are overall good but the facilities need touch up on walls, doors, and other surfaces that are dirty and have handprints.The place has recently been worked on as evidenced by new floors in the units I stayed in and those I was able to see. The cleaning of the units seems to be good overall.

A charming hotel located on the Steinhatchee River not far from the Gulf. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, pool with a view. A great two night stay!
