Very uncomfortable pillows. Very hard. Used a couch cushion in the middle of the night. Yikes. Didn’t think I’d need to bring a pillow with me to a Marriot Hotel.

Couldn't believe there was no place to unpack your clothing. No drawers, and a very, very small closet. Which was unconvenient behind the door. Also, the carpet needed replacing it was vary worn

Good location, clean rooms and friendly staff, but for such a new building I was pretty surprised there were issues. Paid extra for a king bedroom and kitchen suite, unfortunately the Main tv did not work, and the pull out bed was terribly uncomfortable, my daughter ended up folding it back into a couch and sleeping on that instead. Also theres lots of noise from the parking lot and adjacent building, loud music from a party echoed through our rooms until 1 am. We decided not to stay a second night.

I traveled to Calgary with my elderly mother. Usually we get a hotel in two separate rooms this time we got the two bedroom two bathroom suite here. It's pretty much the same price as getting two separate hotel rooms but what a treat. It felt like coming home to your apartment and not in the hotel room. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We're able to get a good night's sleep, but we're able to spend the evening together. It has a fully equipped kitchen and I mean fully equipped. It actually has an oven which many of these in suite kitchens don't have. The supplies are top notch not cheap garbage. You could even bake if you wanted to. It was a real enjoyment and we will go again. We didn't have the included breakfast but it looked lovely. We were too busy in our day to take advantage of it, but we always grabbed a coffee to go.

The good: room size, pool and water slide, free breakfast on the residence side, super friendly service at the front desk and during breakfast, mountain views. Early check-in was available and 12pm checkout is nice. Well equipped kitchen, ice maker in the freezer. The bad: our room (216) was located right next to the gym meaning you can hear people dropping weights, which was so loud that it made us jump. Not good sound proofing - traffic was loud, waking us up often and the footsteps above us were like elephants, thankfully they were quiet come 11pm.The AC in the unit went on around 4am and it was SO loud. It sounded like an idled car and someone squirting a spray bottle every second. This lasted for about hour and I’m guessing this unit also cools the gym directly next door. The bed was comfortable, pillows were terrible. Pullout couch extremely stiff to sit, bed was springy, lumpy, and uncomfortable, even for a small child. Only one working elevator, not a big deal as the hotel wasn’t super busy, it’s just inconvenient. I would recommend asking south or east facing windows / room (unless traffic doesn’t bother you as the mountain view is nice), top floor, and not near any facilities, including the elevator.

The stay was mostly good. The shower drain smelled like mildew. We reported it and they came up and wiped out the drain but did nothing else and it still smelled. I reported it again when we checked out. We had to ask to have our room cleaned on the 4th day that we were there. It was supposed to be cleaned every other day. The people were excellent. Requests were handled promptly and courteously. Overall, the experience wasn't too bad aside from the smelly drain issue.

Great place to stay. My only request would be to have different luggage moving carts. They have ones like at the airport which are great but all our stuff didn’t fit on one and because we had small bags and stuff I had to make multiple trip from the vehicle carrying them as they would fall through the bottom of the cart.

I loved the idea that they had a grassy area for the dogs that were staying there and that they had a place for smokers. I absolutely loved the easy parking. And, most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the morning breakfast was excellent. I WILL be staying there again.

The carpet in our room was wet when we arrived. They told us it was from it being cleaned and that it will eventually dry. There was dark hair all over the bathroom door and in the bathtub when I went to give my daughter a bath. Our room ais right next to a very busy street and gets lots of traffic noise. When paying $300 a night, the room should be in a much better state. Our young child is finding it difficult to sleep with how the loud the noise is from the traffic.

This is our go to hotel when going to hospital next door. The friendly service you receive the minute you walk through the doors. All staff in the hotel are so warm, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great and always fresh. I would recommend staying at this location.

Spent a couple weeks here with my dog and we were very comfortable. Rooms are large, kitchen provides the basics you need for most cooking, and location is close to stores you need even in walking distance (literally across the street). Staff was always friendly and I didn’t have much issues. It’s not in the downtown core but coming from a big city and used to high, high traffic, I didn’t mind driving along a usually pretty empty highway to and from the downtown core.

The staff at this property are really professional and attentive. Every interaction was perfect. Check-in was quick, and any questions or service I needed was taken care of quickly as well. I did find the bed not as confortable as I had hoped. To me it let like the mattress was a bit lumpy and not the hotel style luxury beds I normally expect from this brand (and Westin, which is my preferred brand of the same company). The bed didn’t feel cheap, but it also didn’t seem to exude quality. For the price of a night at this property, I expected more. One other issue was there was no TV remote. As I arrived late and just wanted to rest and relax, I didn’t bother phoning the front desk and waiting for someone to come. Again, for the price this property charges per night, I would expect to not have to call for a TV remote. Once again, the staff I interacted with were all fantastic. The area was clean and the interior nice. The room itself was modern and comfortable for the most part. Items were available at the front for purchase, like drinks and chips which was nice. Overall OK. Small details are what takes a place to the next level, and some were overlooked here.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past ast few years every time we go to Calgary because we loved it. But this time the thermostat didn’t work and we had them fix it a couple times and it still didn’t work. And the beds were really uncomfortable. Not sure we will stay here again.

Good location. Friendly staff. Facility is showing its age despite upgrades, shower pan need new silicone sealant where it meets the shower walls. Bathroom mirror reflects overflow holes in the sink and the inside is filthy. In need of bleach based cleaning there. Room is spacious. Fan for temperature control is noisy.
