Beautiful building and lovely location right on the beach. Room was small and no window taht could be opened. Same was the case in the bathroom. The tap flowed into the surface rather than going into the wash basin which made it hard to use. Breakfast was good. Small pool but good for kids. All in all, it wasn’t value for the money we paid.

This is the hotel Mark Twain stayed in and I can see why. The beautiful view and friendly staff are unmatched anywhere.

Located right on the beach and east walk to shops and restaurants. Also close to secondary streets for bargains and banks.
Have their own bar and restaurant and breakfast options included were good and served, versus buffet style

The hotel and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The place is clean and well cared for. I especially love how close it is to downtown to be able to walk around, and it is just far enough away to be extremely quiet.

We heard from a friend about the hotel. We like to take a break from our shaggy beach house in San Juan del Sur occasionally so decided to head here. It did not disappoint. Lovely room and delicious food on the veranda.

This was our first stay at Hotel Victoriano, and won't be the last. The staff were all very kind and helpful and most spoke English. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and even had a small drink refrigerator and hot water. It is walking diatance to downtown, which makes shopping convenient. And, they had secure parking. Definitely a 5 star place.

The hotel is a well maintained historic building. It is across the street from the beach, but there are no buildings on the beach side in front of it. It’s an easy walk to the beach, dozens of excellent restaurants, shops, and public parks. The restaurant food is high quality and very reasonably priced. Staff could not have been nicer. English and Español.

Great location! Within walking distance to beach, shopping and dining. Hotel restaurant closes too early and offers a limited menu.

Delicious food and wonderful drinks. Bar and kitchen were a 10. Felix, Marlon, and the other young waiter ( forgot his name)were SOLID! Non working safe and only 1 key per room was an issue since I was sharing a room. Also had an issue with drugs I left at front desk for another doc to pick up. She was told 2x that I didn’t leave any .

the check out it’s so early, my check in was at 2 o’clock, I would like that the check out must have been in the afternoon, maybe like 3 or 4 pm

I love these old classic hotels! Beautiful wood floors, large room looking out on the bay. The staff was great, super attentive, they arranged rides for us out to several beaches, and back to the border. San Juan Del Sur is pretty loud, so bring ear plugs.

Great location, nearvbars and restaurants . Nice decks to sit and relax . Great service from FELIX, Jose ( poncho villa) and mikalina. Carlos and Lefflin were also very helpful at the front desk. Food and drinks were excellent.....try the salmon carpaccio !!!

Victoriano is still the best Hotel in front of the beach. With small plunge pool and a new gym and spa. Food In my opinion is best hotel in SJDS for your money. The hotel is going through a new Manager, which I don’t see lasting. No experience!!! Lack people skills.
