Let's get to the import stuff: Great location and in the center of everything within the city. Staff was great and it was an unusual set up when you do the self-check-in at the bar of all places, but it was a very cool concept. Great rooms but a suggestion for them is to get some carpets on the floor as it was cold this winter and no slippers provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and nice to sleep in. The view of the river was great, LOTS of windows with nice views and the area was quiet at night. I like that that the TV was "unlocked" and I could hook up my tablet to it to watch some of my local shows & movies since EVERYTHING on the channels was all in German, nothing in English. I like that they had an Ice machine at the end of the hall but a minifridge in the room for convenience would have been nice for snacks and sodas. They had a really nice clean room and included a nice Bluetooth speaker to play music with or as I connected my tablet to it while streaming shows to the TV. The staff was nice and friendly, and the room was cleaned for the 3 days I stayed so that was nice. When I return next Christmas, I will definitely be staying here again.

We had the best experience at this hotel! Our rooms made you feel like you were on a cruise. It was small but well designed and super cute. Loved the option at check in to substitute daily cleaning for a free drink in the lovely bar area. The staff were exceptional. Would highly recommend!

Great location. Good value. Very modern. If travelling for business, there are lots of common work areas but no desks in the room (you might need to request a superior room).

This property was incredible! I loved the outdoor patio open to all, the 24/7 bar & restaurant. The location was ideal. The rooms were clean and contemporary. The beds were comfortable and the shower amazing. The staff was kind and all spoke English! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and, in fact, already have to local friends who have guests coming to town as well as other friends traveling to Hamburg in the future.

The Ruby Lotti is literally in the middle of everything. Tours, shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. My first impression of the room was wow and it went up from there. A big shoutout to the staff, for making my trip a thoroughly enjoyable one.

The hotel is nice, in a good area, second time i booked with them. They are very versatile, easy check in and check out, 24/7 bar and they also serve breakfast. I wish they would have a coffee machine in the room, or a kettle for a tea, that would make them perfect. Also i think it would be a good idea for them to put a note on each door , "please release slowly", or "please dont slam me", unfortunately some people need this kind of "guidance" in order to behave with consideration. They slammed the doors day and night, i mean at least during the night they should be a little bit more careful, a note might remind them they are not alone :)

Only thing we missed was a minibar/refrigrirator in the room. But very nice loftroom.
And, nice option to get drinks instead of roomcleaning 👍

Great looking hotel, very modern, incredibly convenient location to access many tourist destinations. All staff were able to speak English well. Really good breakfast too. Will definitely stay there again!

The actual place was not bad. I didn’t mind it. However, i was in my room and a man had a key and walked right into my room. I was alone and didn’t have much clothes on. I yelled to the man who walked into my room. Either they mistakenly gave someone a key to my room (not ok) or someone who worked there came in. When i called the front desk crying they didn’t care. If you travel alone don’t ever stay here.

If you expect any kind of service, then you are better off staying elsewhere! Pictures and description regarding canal view were misleading. On request we were first told that we had checked in too late to get the good views although we had actually checked in a little early, then we were told that it was our own fault because we hadn't communicated by email BEFOREHAND that we wanted a room with a view (who books a hotel next to a canal and wants a view of on ugly office block opposite), later on in the evening we asked about a room change for the next day and were told to deal with the colleague in the morning who then said, again, your own fault because apparently in our room category rooms with canal views are not offered (it always says city view by the way when you book). Overall, at no point did we hear an apology or receive a king gesture. Also when we dealt with the hotels.com the hotel hung up on them.

Great hotel for single or couple stay. Very laid back atmosphere and attitude. Very modern hotel and staff. If you must feel quiet and suppressed in other hotels - this is opposite! You can feel free, dim the lights or light up the room completely. Turn on Marshall Bluetooth speaker and rock-on to your favorite Hair metal band tunes. Strong shower, comfy bed. You can even lend a guitar and amp to your room for free. Amazing idea!

I really loved the vibe at this hotel! It was ideally and beautifully located. Everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was really good - not overloaded with a million different things to choose from, but still plenty - and the food quality was really high, with fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious bread and the best selection of teas and freshly brewed coffe, served by friendly and welcoming staff members. When going back to Hamburg, I will not spend time deciding what hotel to go for. I have found myself a new favourite in Ruby Lotti!

and have stayed in many hotels over the years. But this hotel is a 10 , The staff is what makes the difference, they where fantastic! The hotel Vibe is great! I will stay in no other hotel in Hamburg!

Ruby Lotti was a terrific hotel. The wall of windows had a lot of light and a great view. Nice big TV. Excellent shower. Excellent breakfast. It was the highlight of my trip as far as hotels went. Very convenient to the city center. Subway stop very nearby. I heartily recommend it to anyone.
