I can't comment on the upper floor rooms, but we were lodged in the basement, which probably shouldn't be used to lodge guests. The basements rooms are sparse, sticky floors, have no ventilation, and the windows can't really be opened since they are below grade and open into essentially open pits. We were all stuffed up when we left the next morning. I'm guessing the upper floor rooms are better. So, if you stay here, we recommend confirming you're not in a basement room or find somewhere else if only the basement rooms are available.

Five of us booked a room with three double beds, but instead we got two rooms with double and two double beds and two bathrooms and separate entrance just for ourselves. Which was great, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are new, beds are new and comfortable to sleep in. Since our rooms were something like in a basement level, we had no room view , but we didnt mind because we needed rooms just for the sleepover. Train station is 5 min walking and it takes just few train stops to reach Frankfurt .

The people were really nice, but the hotel was not clean, the room was really dirty, dead flies on the windows, tons of dust under the beds, and the bathroom conditions were not ok (0 Mantainace)

The Hosts was super accommodating and we appreciated how attentive they were to our needs. Great place to stay and comfortable rooms.

The room and service were very nice. Please note, though, that this is more along the lines of a guest house than a hotel. My husband went for a pre-dawn walk on the morning of our departure and the main door locked behind him. Also, there is not elevator, which is fine with me but a little rough on those schlepping bags.

The staff was not really present nor did they tell anything. We left our keys at the reception when leaving out for the evening and when we arrived everything was closed/locked. We should have brought the keys with us. Also when checking out there was no one there. Tried with another family to find staff but with success. The room was really nice but bathtub did not work and no one knew how to fix it. It was just a technical error we were told.
