Warm house with all the trimmings. Good coffee selection. Near downtown. Shower and sink faucets are reversed so beware.

Need a real coffee maker. I brought coffee and half and half. The coffee provided for keurig was all flavored. Terrible. Also WiFi password did not work. bestguestEVER???

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Thank you for being dog friendly. The cottage is clean, organized with plenty of supplies. Great location, walk to shops and restaurants .Easy check in and check out. Owner responds quickly too. Marlene H.

Excellent overall. Really liked the simple check out process: turn off AC, lights and lock the front door. A nice change from other places that require stripping beds, etc etc etc.

Great proximity to shops and good spots to eat in Shepherdstown. Kitchen could be better stocked (for example, no cutting board or tea kettle). And it’s a ‘the neighbors keep everything on their front and back porches’ kind of vibe. But this small, cozy space is clean and comfy.

We had a great time exploring the area. Easy to get to Antietam . We walked everyday to town and enjoyed the restaurants especially The Press Room. Would like to come back in the warmer weather. The place is clean and had all that we needed for a quick weekend away. Shepardstown is charming.

This was a perfect place to stay for a little visit to Shepherdstown. We were a short and beautiful walk to the shops and restaurants (and we got to visit old cemeteries along the way!). The house was cozy and well-maintained, and the host was kind and communicative.. The street was quiet. I highly recommend staying here!

The Cottage was very clean and close to the University!

Everything thing was fine. We appreciated the good coffee. It was ideal to be able to walk easily to the restaurants in town

Over all we liked the cottage. A couple things need attention like cleaning the bathroom fan and window ledges, but these are easily fixed. A hair dryer would be a nice touch along with shampoo.

The cottage was nice for the price. My only complaint is the cottage is surrounded by homes but the windows weren’t completely covered. It was a nice place to stay and I’d stay again.
