Really old room cold and way to much expensive. The beds were inclined: we did no stay for the night (even if we had already paid!)

The Inn is a motel within walking distance to downtown and the lake. Our room had a king-size bed, kitchenette, and jacuzzi tub. It was tucked in at the end of the row and very quiet for the New Year weekend. I don't know about the other rooms but the king-size option was as shown in some of the pictures. It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and well kept. We would stay there again if back in that area.

What a nice, quiet, and well located hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and found it to be very clean and super comfortable. I am heading back to Lake Placid in a few weeks and definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommend this incredible value to everyone!

We had a great stay here. I requested an early checkin as we were here for a wedding and the hotel was so completed accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Looks are deceiving. The outside could use a little bit of work but our room was lovely. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom is all tiles with the huge jacuzzi tub (didn’t have time to use it). The manager stopped by after check contactless checkin to ask if we were all set

This is a very nice place to stay. There is no hassle when you check in because the doors are already programmed. You punch in a code and you find your room all ready for you. It's a beautiful town. I will return in the summer.

Located in a convenient location. It is an older building in need of some general maintenance. The general manager was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, double beds, table and two chairs, small fridge, bathroom with lots of clean towels. Affordable for its location. Would stay here again

The blanket that I took from the closet spread little pieces of I am sure of, debris. Coffee filter was not removed from the coffee maker, those 2 things gave me a feeling of, "what else was looked over?" How sanitary was the room. I realize that you are short staffed, it's a shame, the property needs a lot of TLC. (Not blaming you) I loved the keyless door entry. Felt safe. It was a very convenient location; the money I paid I really cannot complain at all. Thank you so much. Stephanie

The bed was the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on it felt the mattress was tipped towards the edge so it felt like you were going to roll off!

Hotel was clean but very dated. Heat thermostat did not seem to work. Air conditioning was from the 80s and push button. Water in sink would not stop dripping.

When we arrived our room wasn't quite ready due to an employee calling in. The staff was more than accommodating and tending to our room asap. We told them we'd go into town to grab dinner and the owner gave suggestions of things to do while we waited. They were extremely apologetic about the situation. While we were in Placid they messaged us when our room was ready (very quickly btw) and met us at our door to get the code set up. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. This place was very affordable, especially given the location. Will definitely stay again!

The motel wasn't remarkable in itself, but the staff went above and beyond. The called to confirm our check in time and texted us the code to the door. Then when we forgot our water bladder for hiking they picked it up and held it for us until we returned.

There were no staff members working the entire length of our stay. When we arrived they had blue sticky notes with our name on it, the room number and the key sitting on top of it. This is a major security concern. Unsafe practices. The room smelled of mold and everything was presented in an unsanitary manner. My girlfriend developed a sickness only women get from bacteria, which we believe is from the sheets, which smelled as though they were not washed. A man was roaming the halls and waited to see us go into our room. There were no staff to report this to. I had to confront this man myself. I would pay double to stay at any other hotel in direct area.

The room we rented was 2 double beds and a kitchenette with plenty of room. We did not find out until we arrived that the pool was closed so it kind of put a damper on our two boys trip.

Stayed at the Maple Leaf Inn for a lacrosse tournament after a summer of expensive lacrosse tournaments. Was looking for something inexpensive but safe and clean. Maple Leaf Inn fit the bill perfectly. It doesn't look great pulling up but our room was meticulously clean, the shower worked great, and the beds were comfortable. Great value and walking distance to downtown.

Property picture is deceiving and is not showing the actual motel. Disappointing and will never return. Place looked run down. Room smelled like cigarettes in a non-smoking room. Pool was not open when advertised that it was. Pros: Staff was decent. Price. Location.
