Unique location

Second time staying in a La Mare boathouse in Bydgoszcz, something different in an excellent location near the center and a short taxi ride from the airport.

Average, misleading photos and booking process.

The location was very convenient. 5-10 minute walk into the centre.

The booking process is misleading. It doesn’t give you a clear option of what boat you are booking and we didn’t realise how small the boat we booked was ( I will attach photos). It advertises a double bed but it’s a pull out that fills the entrance and blocks the bathroom/living area. Floor wasn’t clean. I contacted the main number but a lady speaking in Polish didn’t understand. The owner phoned back and said the booking was clear and did offer us an upgrade for our last night however we were out until late this day so wasn’t suitable. Asked for clean towels but not provided.

Lots of potential but facilities let it down.

The location is really beautiful and very unique. It has incredible potential to be an amazing stay.

Unfortunately the terrace door did not lock. We alerted Christopher to the situation but he didn’t do anything to fix it. As a result we felt quite unsafe that night and didn’t sleep well. However the worst thing was the smell of sewage when we would flush the toilet. We used the shower early in the morning and had to stay out on the terrace in the freezing cold as the smell was so overwhelming. We left the door and windows open in minus 5 degrees Celsius but the smell was still really bad. A real shame.

Rewelacyjne miejsce na nocleg w centrum Bydgoszczy, jednak na wodzie i z poczuciem prywatności.

Brak stolika na tarasie, bardzo by się przydał. Cena jest wysoka jak na pobyt rodzinny.
