Easy to get in and out. Close to boat ramp. Central to everything we wanted to do on the lake. Fish, swim and eat.

The house was great. It had all the amenities needed. The owner was nice. There was plenty of entertainment for the water. The only things that were spotty was the TV which kept resetting itself and the shower drain which was a bit slow. We had to wait in between uses for the water to drain.

The most private lot I have been on at Lake Martin. Woods on both sides help increase privacy. Great place for a family of 3 or 4, Very comfortable. Really don't have to bring much. Coffee, snacks, toiletries are all available. This lot would be the best for a winter rental as well.

Johnny the owner was amazing. He gave me a wealth of knowledge about the area. The house was great and the amenities and extras there are a great touch. It was quiet and peaceful. No loud neighbors plus the fish, turtles and ducks was a plus. Not to far from the essentials but far enough to be relaxing. Dont know when we will be going back but i will definently book this house again.

Cabin was very clean, cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed boating and spending time on the dock. The fire-pit was nice in the evening and gas grill was a plus! I can’t say enough nice things about John, the host! He was very attentive and had lots of restaurant and shopping recommendations. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful cove. House was clean and very eqipped for guests. We opted to rent their boat. All enjoyed. Feeding fish, ducks and turtles from pier was fun for all.

Adorable cabin with amazing outdoor spaces! Screened porch overlooking the lake was magical! Wildlife galore in a peaceful cove, with direct water access. Kayaks and canoe provided, fire pit with wood provided, boat rental available. Restaurants, grocery stores, directions, and all necessary information provided with ease. Wonderful communication! Will be making this an annual birthday retreat!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. It was just perfect. The owner was so attentive and responsive. House was very cute and clean and had everything you could ever think of. We also loved feeding the fish and turtles every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a fantastic time at Johnny's cabin on the lake. Everything about the experience was great. Johnny is very responsive and helped throughout our stay with anything we needed. Also, he has a boat you can rent, which makes it so easy and convenient to spend some time boating around the lake. We will definitely be back!

This cabin is the perfect location for a low-key end of year getaway. Especially if you love watching geese, ducks and fish. The cabin itself is simple but you can tell the owner thought through everything about the guest's experience. It is very comfortable and equipped for days in or out. We spent most of the time on the back porch listening to the lake sounds. We hope to visit again.

My husband, son (15yrs) dad (82yrs) and myself stayed in the cabin for the Thanksgiving holiday and we all agreed our stay was PERFECT and the cabin was one of the BEST cabins we have rented. The cabin was perfectly decorated, very cozy and super clean! We loved sitting on the screened porch enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake. The lighting around the screened porch and outdoor area gives the cabin a peaceful and warm vibe. Plus, there were plenty of rockers (rocking chair, rocking couch, hammock seat and outdoor bench swing) for us to "chill" as we watched the lake. A perfect setting for ultimate relaxation! The cabin had everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The property manager, John Watkins, was incredibly responsive (even during a holiday week) and simply WONDERFUL to work with! John made sure that the lights were on when we arrived late in the evening. He gave us excellent directions (easy to find the cabin) and many restaurant recommendations prior to our arrival. He even had water in the cabin and the outdoor fire pit ready with firewood for us to enjoy our first evening. The temperature was supposed to be cool during our stay so John made sure we had an outdoor heater so we could enjoy hanging out in the screened porch comfortably. Truthfully, John thought about every detail necessary to equip the cabin for our enjoyment! The ultimate property manager! We opted to prepare our own meals and enjoy the view at the table in the screened porch. The kitchen was stocked well with all the utensils we needed to create our meals. The living room was such a cozy area for our family to watch movies at night. John had the cabin well stocked with movies and board games for great family fun! John had 2 kayaks and a canoe for us to enjoy the lake. We went kayaking every day and WOW! What a view! One of our favorite things to do during our stay. We also had fun feeding the fish and turtles in the lake. John had food available to feed the fish/turtles. So fun! Our goal was to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake/outdoors during our stay. Our expectations were met above and beyond measure! Exceptional cabin.

We came out for family weekend and football game. Absolutely loved the place. Communication with owner was great and he provided tips for local establishments. Check in was easy. The view of the lake was wonderful and it was easy to walk down to the pier. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the lake house - it’s beautiful with a relaxing screened in porch, and very comfortable.

This place was perfect! The property owner was very helpful and attentive. The place was just as described and extremely clean. They had instructions for everything and extra amenities throughout. The house sits back in a little cove and they have created an estuary for turtles and catfish. I sat for hours feeding the fish and turtles. It was the most relaxing vacation we have had in awhile and will definitely book again.

We had a restful stay! Wonderful outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air and view! Our favorite spot was sitting at the pier and feeding the turtles and fish! Just so relaxing. Place was spotless and inviting! Johnny was an excellent and very thoughtful host! Highly recommend this stay!

We greatly enjoyed the cabin. My favorite part was the deck built around the oak tree. We had a blast on the pontoon, and it was such a treat to have it available on location. The welcoming touches were appreciated also. Feeding the family fish and turtles in the lake was relaxing. I just loved this property and its location on the lake.

A+ all around. Homeowner was super helpful and great communicator with excellent hospitality. Cabin was a perfect three bedroom lake getaway with easy access to boat rental. House was clean, well organized and perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed boating, swimming and kayaking on the lake and feeding their 30 turtles on their dock that are like pets. Highly recommend and the perfect distance if you are visiting Auburn. We fell in love with Lake Martin. We will be back!

Exceeded expectations ! We have stayed in many VRBO properties and none could touch this property in amenities. Nothing left to the imagination. Rustic cabin on the lake with all of the conveniences.

Our weekend stay was unsurpassable! The cottage was extremely clean and decorated so cute, it looks like a home featured in a magazine. Everything you needed was provided for you to relax and enjoy your stay. The dock, fire pit area, and especially the screened porch provided the perfect spaces to unwind. We enjoyed the pontoon boat and sightseeing on the absolutely beautiful lake. Feeding the fish and turtles was an added plus. Our host provided information on the best places to eat and marinas where we could get fuel as well as eat and grab a beverage. He was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay!!

Home is better than described. Host was super helpful and generous - probably the best communicator in all my years renting on vrbo. I give this a five star review!
