The hotel is located above the local market, just two blocks from the river, making it perfectly situated for exploring the area. The building itself is a beautifully renovated colonial-style property that once served as government offices, adding a unique sense of history and character.
The décor is exceptional and truly transports you—it feels like stepping onto the set of a Casablanca film.
Alex, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us in coordinating a tour to see the dolphins and arranging our transfer to Siem Reap, which made our trip seamless and stress-free.
With only three rooms in the building, the atmosphere feels intimate and exclusive. Our room featured a large, comfortable bed and was thoughtfully designed, with beautiful decorative touches throughout. We highly recommend it!

Incredible property in the heart of Kratie. A long list of likes….. the welcome from Alex and the team, the building and all the memorabilia, the bedroom with amazing aircon and loads of space, the rooftop bar for dinner and drinks, the breakfast……. Hard to pick out one thing but the breakfast and the incredible coffee set me up perfectly for a long cycle in the heat!!
