Location was perfect, totally ungeneric and was charmingly funky. It had a lot of character and enhanced my experience of being in Portugal for the very first time. Public transport is close by, and tons of major attractions and restaurants are a very short walk away.
Placement of bed in room could have been easier to walk around.
Uber driver drop-off was not in front but a half block away along a park, and Uber pickup was also difficult to understand without scrambling over tram tracks like a headless chicken while sending desperate messages begging the driver to help find me. Take the time to figure out a better pickup spot before calling an Uber to the airport.

We liked the location, private bathroom, loved that they put us in the back so that we didn't hear much of the outside noise (students out eating, partying), very responsive on text, staff always available, and they had A/C.
Although photos give the impression that breakfast is included, it is not, though you're close to a lot of pastry shops. The decor could use some modernization and it would be nice if they had laundry facilities.

Location is prime and restaurants and sights are nearby
A bit too close to the main action for Sào João festival when music and noise didn't die down till 4am. If you like and prepare yourself in this environment, you will be right at the center of happenings
