Avoid it at all costs!

Absolutely nothing!

I made a booking for a sea view room with an extra-large double bed at this hotel 15 days before my arrival. Upon arrival, we were asked to make the payment upfront before being shown to our room. To our disappointment, the room had no sea view and featured two separate single beds. Despite bringing up the issue, we were offered a basement floor room at the end of a poorly lit corridor next to the cleaning area, still without a sea view and with two single beds pushed together. Despite my insistence on receiving the room we had paid for - a sea view with a double bed - Mr. Orhan, the staff member we dealt with, continuously brushed off the situation, claiming the hotel was fully booked, which was clearly untrue given the visibly low occupancy. He suggested we could stay in the current room for a day and promised to assist us the following day. Reluctantly, we accepted this offer with the condition of a room change the next day. However, the room we were provided had its own set of issues: a broken shower head, dead flies on the walls, no towels, and a malfunctioning lamp. The next day, when I approached reception to discuss our room situation, Mr. Orhan refused to assist further, insisting that they had already changed our room the day before and I have been told that he doesn't have to give us a room that isn't next to the cleaning room... This level of service and attitude from a supposed 4-star hotel was appalling. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, I was met with dismissiveness and lies. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction was truly disheartening. To add to our frustrations, the hotel experienced water disconnection so we were unable to have a shower that was another stressing issue. As someone who wanted to showcase Turkish hospitality to my girlfriend, my experience at this hotel left me deeply embarrassed. I would strongly advise against staying here and urge others to avoid it at all costs!

Disappointing

The view is amazing from the rooms or from anywhere in the hotel.

Probably the worst service I have ever seen in Bodrum. The checking was not on time and my friend had to wait extra 30 min but on the checkout day they called us to remind „NOT TO BE LATE“ which iwas anyway 11:30 am. Another day They forgot their cleaning products in the room. The beach part is nice but the prices are ridiculous. Since Im local didn’t have a problem with the language but I have witnessed foreign guests struggling with the communication . As a summary I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you don’t have any other option. Bodrum has great hotels with great services and here is not one of them.

Wonderful staff and food

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Resort was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The resort itself boasts an impressive design, combining comfort with elegance in a way that appeals to all guests.One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the culinary experience. The food served at the resort was incredibly tasty, featuring a wide variety of dishes that catered to all tastes and preferences. Each meal was a delight, thanks to the high-quality ingredients and the skillful preparation by the kitchen staff.However, what truly set this resort apart was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. They were not just kind and helpful; they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. I would like to extend my special thanks to Esra from guest relations, who was always there to assist with a smile and make my stay even more pleasant. Ayşe, the waiter, deserves a mention for serving the best coffee I've had in a while, turning each morning into a delightful experience. Lastly, Devran, another outstanding waiter, made sure that our table was always equipped with everything we needed, enhancing our dining experience with his attentive and courteous service.I wholeheartedly recommend the Holiday Inn Resort to anyone looking for a place to stay that combines luxury with a personal touch. The staff's dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the resort's operation, making it a standout choice for both leisure and business travelers. Thank you to everyone at the Holiday Inn Resort for making my stay an unforgettable one.

1. Локация. Надо четко понимать, что отель расположен на холме между Бодрумом и Гюмбетом (рядом с мельницами) . Для любителей хайкинга - это плюс, для остальных - только такси. Но виды потрясающие. Однако если идти пешком, то по обоим склонам холма всё загажено мусором и битыми склянками (( 2. Вид из номера на о.Кос, вид с террасы ресторана - на Бодрум и крепость. Я читала в отзывах, что из номера вид на крепость, но нет, только на Кос. 3. На завтраках был апельсиновый фрэш. Это прям + )) 4. Стильные номера 5. Русскоязычный персонал на ресепшене

1. Ужасная уборка. Мы несколько раз обращали на это внимание, уборка повторялась, но суть не менялась - как были чьи-то волосы между тумбой и кроватью и в углу столешницы в ванной - так и остались, также и клубы пыли в углах. Да и пыль на изголовье кровати и ТВ также никуда не делась. 2. Сантехника в душевой - не только самая дешевая, но и изрядно ржавая. 3. В марте инфраструктура отеля работала только на верхних ярусах. Остальное, в т.ч. фуникулер - не работало. Территория возле моря также была в заброшенном состоянии. Об этом мы узнали только при заселении. Хотя письмо о том, что в "зимний сезон" в отеле только завтраки - мы получили. 4. При заселении спросили сразу про такси на выезд в аэропорт. Нам предложили 2 варианта - официальный за 1400 лир и частника за 1000 лир. На станции такси мы спокойно заказали официальное такси. Все четко, прекрасно добрались и обошлось в чуть менее 1000 лир)) 5. Завтраки. Были только на 2-х. Одно и тоже. 3-й завтрак не посещали из-за раннего выезда. Ланч-бокс не предусмотрен. 6. Кондиционер не работал. Об этом мы уже не сообщали, тк 3 дня и так обошлись. Но это говорит о том, что номера не готовы в полной мере к заселению. И это март с единичными гостями. 7. Ресторан. Паста вкусная. Бургеры.. Вы ели когда-нибудь солёные огурцы с запахом и вкусом рыбы? Мы - нет. И не стали их есть от расстройства желудка подальше. За суп сверху приписали 40 лир. Пустяк, но дьявол как всегда в мелочах. 8. Халаты. Не было ощущения чистой вещи.

the hotel does not refund my money, although a request was made by me to leave 1 day earlier, and we signed all the necessary documents, but they didn’t give me my money, I want to sue this hotel! Room was horrible and dirty, beach is dirty, super old hotel, the price doesn’t match the reality, you can look at the photos

Pretty on outside. Ugly on inside

The location

Everything was dirty. The service was unacceptable. They would say one thing and not keep their word. You get a piece of paper with the amenities and hours. None of that existed. They ran out of Rum Vodka and Wine. No snack bar was open. Had to call for toilet paper and clean towels. The pool towels were not located at the pool but at the spa area and you didn’t know that until you were at the pool. Also mega steps. Restraunt and pool were not closed to the main building were the room were located.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Not sure where to start from. PLEASE READ ALL CAREFULLY IT GETS WORSW. Staff are very very unhelpful. Not to mention that the hotel isn’t actually all inclusive. The food is VERY BAD, spent a lot of money eating out all day. There were used cutlery outside our room in the communal hall for days. The fridge in the rooms did not work even though we called them multiple times. There were bug infestation from the rotting wood and they had done nothing about it. There were constant electrical problems and the electric kept going. A lady who had no name tag or uniform stormed into my room when she thought we asked for extra to steal them without explanation when i had asked her at least three times who she is and that she is not allowed in our room and DID NOT FOLLOW COVID GUIDELINES IN SOCIAL DISTANCING. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WAS SEEN AS NORMAL AND DONE NOTHING ABOUT. A lady and two children were a victim of physical abuse, the staff did not call the police to the property after the woman who had been hit had asked multiple times but the police were called by others staying at the hotel. By the end of our stay apparently we had an ‘outstanding amount’ or the ‘wrong amount’ taken from the account however we had paid via booking.com so it’s almost impossible that this could happen and you cannot use anything extra in the hotel unless you pay for it there and then so they basically try to rip off more money but after disputing this they had asked me to leave their hotel. Unfortunately due to covid-19 there were no other properties available for us to book so last minute so we had to experience all of this.

Hotel left ambiguous impression. The first reaction after arrival was “ OMG(((“, everything is old, a lot of broken details (doors in WC, sunbeds, some furniture, elevator to the beach! etc..), beach towels were old and wet (because they are after cleaning – we`ve got explanation), staff on Reception in early morning didn`t speak English at all! We booked 3 nights, but stood only 2, so in my booking notes I asked hotel to provide us with early check in, but guys on reception simply didn`t understand us. We were super tired after 24 hours w/o sleeping and said that ok, just show us were the WC where we can make some refreshment and change the dress into the swimming suits and have a rest on the beach and guy from the reception ushered us to the restaurant )) But then, at 12 am we managed to agree early check in (had to come to reception from the beach 3 times by more than 100 stairs to negotiate) and moreover were provided with room upgrade. SO, in fact, our room was comfortable (except for the broken door handle and the chandelier that went through hard times), view was spectacular, food in the restaurant and drinks in the bars were also very good. In general, for 3 days weekend we found hotel appropriate (because of room upgrade, location, view, beach and food), but for sure there is even not 4 stars hotel and in some details (broken and old) even not 3 stars.

Everything is old, a lot of broken details (doors in WC, sunbeds, some furniture, elevator to the beach! etc..) A lot of stairs!
