We have three 65 inch smart TVs, plus stylish bathrooms, simple but lux coastal decor and new outdoor furniture. Come enjoy this renovated Villa in walking distance from the beach and Bald Head Island Club. We are excited to share our little piece of paradise with your family and friends! Our home consists of three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The master has a king, the guest has a queen, and the third bedroom is just perfect with two sets of bunk beds. We have a great outdoor living space which is perfect for entertaining. Our home is fully stocked with a pack n play, crock pot, 4 beach chairs, (2) four passenger golf carts for cruising the island, an electric grill, and both a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker. **We cannot guarantee ice makers or water dispensers to be operable in the rental Tram Reservation Address: 305 S Bald Head Wynd Villa 37 Turn Date in PEAK SUMMER SEASON: Saturday Club Option for separate purchase: BHI Full Access (GOLF ACCESS AVAILABLE) **Club memberships are different for every house and depends on dates. The pictures were lovely, the real thing was the basic product of a slum lord! The overall feel of the place was dirty. The floors had not been mopped or swept. There was a black mold looking substance on the ceiling in the living room. Several outlets had no covers and the front door, wall on the inside and staircase either had peeling paint or a burn pattern! The screen on the upstairs patio had been ripped away and never repaired. The thermostat was set to ice age numbers and would only come up for a short time when moved to a more comfortable numbers. We had to call Spectrum to get the television to come on since instructions were sketchy at best. There were two golf carts to use but one was rusted out and was not holding a charge until we called maintenance to look at it. I called BHI Services and gave them a list of things that needed repairs, suggested to them that the place should not be rented again until those repairs were made and that we should get a rebate on the thousands we had paid to rent the place for the week. BHI said they would send a work crew and cleaning crew over right then to redo the house and I said we are just getting in, so not now. That was the last I heard from them unless we called them directly. I did receive $300 credited back to my credit card. The poor condition of the house set the tone for a very bad week for me and I will never return to that island for a vacation. We booked in January for this August trip and I noted that really bad reviews started coming in in July of this year much saying the same thing I just did. I would advise anyone looking for a place on the island to see if they can find out when the pictures of a place were taken before booking it, because what we got was a very poor substitute for those pictures. I have booked many homes in many places in the US and usually there are owners who introduce themselves in writing to you and with whom you can converse if needed. No one was listed on this house and from that I am thinking some company owns it and thinks they have a cash cow that they have milked dry!

The inside of the villa was dirty and run down. The outside was not much better with broken screens and loose rusty nails. We saw several cockroaches during our stay and the couches were stained. Generally, this property appears to need much cleaning and updating before it is fit to rent at the current price.
On a positive note, the property managers were wonderfully efficient and responded almost immediately to requests.

The place was cozy inside and comfortable, however, the upstairs carpet smelled of urine. Also, the only other complaint was the deck furniture as it was rusty, outdated, and very uncomfortable.
One of the golf carts broke down but the company did their best to take care of us.

We’ve stayed in the Villas now for 3 years and love the location. This Villa unfortunately was not only furnished with shabby, old furniture and appliances, but several outlets sparked when we plugged in devices, nails were sticking up from the deck, pictures fell off the walls because of old, rusty hooks, and we had cockroaches. All in all, there are many Villas out there that are cleaner, better apportioned and generally safer for families. Don’t waste your money.

Overall good rental w/ 3 TVS, comfortable beds & couch. The kitchen did the job for a short vacation. Good golf carts. AC worked well. Decent decks but some w/ issues. Nice deck (upstairs,) Good Proximity to BHI club & beach. Ideal for families w/ little kids/pets
That said, the property needs some TLC - deck/stairs need to be replaced - a bit of a safety issue. Rusted piece deck - needs to be trashed. Paint peeling on deck - due to climate - chips on deck.. Outside lights were rusted - most replaced while on site. Main Door needs to be replaced asap (sticks/bad handle) and some windows maybe soon. .

First time to Bald Head and we enjoyed our stay. Condo was mostly as described. Listing indicated a Keurig and crockpot - but neither were there when we arrived. We left an after hours message and by 9 a.m. the next morning new (still in boxes) appliances were brought to our door. Villa was accommodating enough for the 4 adults on this trip (kitchen was a little tight but was stocked well). A nice short walk to the beach access. The older golf cart had an issue keeping a charge (but we saw this on other reviews and tried just to use the newer of the two). Unit was mostly clean and was nicely stocked with games, books and other items guests could use. Will definitely consider renting here again if we make it back to the Island! Greatly impressed with ease of booking and quick response from property management team.

The property smelled like dog pee due to a well stained rug in the loft. In general the place needed a little TLC from loose deck boards outside to no screens to dirty windows. We were sitting in the living room when giant palmetto bugs(flying cockroaches) crawled over our feet.

kitchen is small and dated but other than that the space was great for one family and it was clean and had good carts, beach toys, etc. which made it very easy. The loft bedroom is open to living room.

We enjoyed our time at this home as it had everything we needed. It was close enough to the beach to hear the waves and we could watch the sunset from the top deck. Riding to the marina and store on the island were both short trips so the location was great. Due to no one checking in behind us, we got a late checkout. The golf cart stored outside may need a check, it wasn’t quite holding a charge so we used the blue one stored inside the garage. We have already recommended this to friends for a stay!

Our family and another family rented the villa and it was perfect! We had an issue with one golf cart but they gave us a new one within the house! Location was great!

Loved the decor. The master bed was soooo comfortable! We brought our own bikes and beach chairs but they had plenty.
